Petopia isn't the only thing keeping Mania busy. She also runs Warcraft Mounts, the go-to site for mount collectors, as I'm sure everyone frequenting this sub-forum already knew.

So, in order to help Mania out, I thought we could make a thread here, so if we see any errors on Warcraft Mounts that need to be corrected, she'll have somewhere to look.

Anything to make Mania's life easier


Anyway, here's some things I've spotted:

• The Spectral Wolf and Spectral Steed need their costs added - 165 Tol Barad Commedations each -- and the NPCs that they're bought from -- Pogg for the Wolf, Quartermaster Brazie for the horse -- to make their info consistant with other pvp mounts on Warcraft Mounts.
  
  Same with the Drakes of the West Wind. Horde, Alliance. Sold for 200 Tol Barad Commedations, with the same respective vendors as the Spectral Wolf and Steed.
  
  The Black War Mammoths (Horde, Alliance) need their costs updated. They're now 2000 honour points each.
  
  Same thing with pretty much all the faction pvp mounts. All have a new cost of 2000 honour points, as opposed to the 50,000 now listed. Affected mounts include:
  
  Black War Wolf, Black War Raptor, Black War Kodo, Swift Warstrider, Red Skeletal Warhorse, Frostwolf Howler
  
  Black War Steed, Black War Tiger, Black War Ram, Black Battlestrider, Black War Elekk, Stormpike Battlecharger
  
  The Wooly Mammoths (Horde, Alliance) need their costs updated to 2175 Justice Points each, before any Kirin Tor rep discounts, though I don't think reputation discounts apply to stuff bought with anything other than gold anyway.
  
  Winged Steed of the Ebon Blade - the cost should be added, 1000 G before any Ebon Blade rep discount, and it's vendor, Dread Commander Thalan, located in Acherus: the Ebon Hold, in the Eastern Plaguelands (for particularly lazy Death knights)
  
  Vendors need to be added for Basic and Armoured Wind Riders and Gryphons, now that they are sold in places besides Shadowmoon Valley and Dalaran.
  
  New Vendors for Windriders:
  
  Bana Wildmane in Thrallmar, Hellfire Pennisula
  Tohfo Skyhoof in Warsong Hold, Borean Tundra
  Drakma in Orgrimmar
  
  Affected Mounts: Tawny Windrider, Green Windrider, Blue Windrider, Swift Green Windrider, Swift Red Windrider, Swift Purple Windrider, Swift Yellow Windrider
  
  *Also, there's a bit of a formatting screw up on the Source text for the above windriders. It says:
  
  ◦Dama Wildmane in Dalaran
  ◦Shadowmoon Village, Shadowmoon Valley
  ◦Mei Francis
  
  Not a huge deal, but worth pointing out.
  
  New Vendors for Gryphons:
  
  Grunda Bronzewing in Honor Hold, Hellfire Pennisula
  Durgan Thunderbeak in Valiance Keep, Borean Tundra
  Tannec Stonebeak in Stormwind
  
  Affected Mounts: Golden Gryphon, Snowy Gryphon, Ebon Gryphon, Swift Blue Gryphon, Swift Green Gryphon, Swift Red Gryphon, Swift Purple Gryphon
  
  * Again, there's a formatting screw up for the source text. This time it says:

This is a good idea!.

I think the Reins of Poseidus should be put up as it will be in the next patch droping from Poseidus of corse.

Let's stick with just Live mount info for now, Cow. I'm sure Mania will add the 4.1 mounts when the time comes.

true. Well I'm all out of ideas. My mount crazyness has sadly died down when catat hit I hope to get it back!

The Grey Riding Camel is still listed as 2-player when it only takes one, like any other camel mount. I think this stemmed from early erroneous info on MMO-Champion.

The Sea Turtle can now be caught from Cataclysm Zone fishing pools, as well as Northrend ones.

The Black Stallion can now be purchased in Stormwind, from vendor Katie Stokz, as well as from Menthil Harbour.

The other three regular Horses, the Brown Horse, Chestnut Mare, and Pinto, can also now be purchased in Stormwind. Also, the text in their entries needs editing, since the current formatting makes it kind of confusing.

The armoured horses, the Swift Brown Steed, Swift Palomino and Swift White Steed also need their vendor lists updated. They are now sold in Stormwind (same as above), and in Dustwallow Marsh by vendor Gregor MacVince, as well as in Elwynn Forest.

Almost all of the details for the Argent Charger need to be added, specifically:

cost - 100 Champion's Seals
vendor - Dame Evniki Kapsalis at the Argent Tournament
requirements - "Crusader" title and exalted with all 5 AT home city factions

The Ice Mammoths (Alliance, Horde) from the Sons of Hodir now only cost 1000 G before reputation discounts, down from 2500. I scrimpted and saved for this addition to my stables, only to find out it was like 1000 gold less than I was expecting. This really needs to be fixed.

Is it just me, or does no one else care about Warcraft Mounts being accurate? I know Mania is busy, but considering how many people do use this site to track their mount collections, I'm really surprised so few other people have contributed here.
