Companion Pet loyalty? WTF?!

EDIT: Oh geez, I actually thought this was serious for a second here, but then I saw the date of the article -- April 1.
^^; I feel stupid.

News from Warcraft Pets, on a new system that might be in place for Patch 4.1. Companion pet loyalty.

http://www.warcraftpets.com/news/perma. ... on_loyalty

Basically, they're taking away our Hunter's Pets happiness, and instead giving the system to companion pets.

This wouldn't seem too bad (and might let other classes know how we feel), except for one thing -- unhappy companion pets could run away.

This is bull****, especially for companion pets we paid real world money for, like TCG and Blizzard Store pets, or Collector Edition pets, things we can't get over again. I DO NOT want to go online after a couple days to see that the Moonkin Hatchling my bf got me for a present has "run away".

I hope Blizz seriously reconsiders that particular aspect.

I'm hoping even more that this was just Breanni's April's Fool's Joke

I think it's probably an April Fool's Joke, because that'd be ridiculous! We farm for wayy too long to have our mini pets run away.

I have a feeling it was probably an April Fool's joke. There's no real reason for mini-pets to have a loyalty system, especially after taking it away from hunters because it's too clunky or whatnot.
