I don't think so. It's at least 6-7 hours and I think it's still the 24-36 hours or whatever pre-Cata.

Yea i searched google and wowhead and some random hunter pet sites i found and none have a new timer on em

I picked this guy up last month after 6hrs of non-stop flying between his spawn points. Seems to indicate that his spawn timer can still be up there. Good luck! I hope you don't have to wait as long. <3

Camped him for awhile on my main hunter after he was put back in. Didn't find him, got lucky though a few weeks later.

I don't put much stock into "Spawn Timers" as it seems everyone always says something different. When camping all the pets I currently have I was told XXXX has a Spawn Time of 6-8hrs or 8-12 or 21 hours. No one knows for sure on the definite timers of Rare Spawns, it's a Meteorologists Guess at best. Right now I'm working on my 4th Madexx (Hopefully Black-Green) while I tamed a Blue Madexx at 1010HRS CST I am STILL waiting on his Spawn after the 12 hour mark (After having been told everywhere that his Spawn Timer is 12 hours) Realistically, I dont think there's any set spawn timer for any pet, it's completely random. Best thing you can do to get the 1 rare you want is put everything on hold and just camp, camp and camp some more.

When someone says 12 hours, they mean more like 8-14 hours, and even that isn't always the case. But 12 tends to be a common time for certain rares. Plus, for some rares like Pogeyan we know the respawn time is 3-5 hours.

But for certain I can tell you I camped the Evalcharr (only person camping) for 3 days in a row, 5-7 hours each evening and 1 hour each morning, on day 2 morning I think someone had just tamed him and he didn't show again until the morning of day 4 when I logged in on top of him.

that really sucks for you guys i flew down there once, he wasnt there, logged for the night, found him after about 3 seconds of flying to the southern points in the morning

He is usually there when you log in at like 4 AM after going out or seeing your movies.
- Thats basicly how I slowly get all my rare pets.

All Cata rares have a 6 [technically 5:55]-24 hour spawn *window*. No exact timer. No mystical random hour. People can specify how they want or say it spawned at 12 hour intervals for 10 years but it doesn't change the fact that almost all rares in Wrath and Cata (possibly BC too, but idk) have or had a 6-24 hour timer. Srs.

Questionable ones are like Arcturis where it's only got a single or very few spawn point/s... the timer is upped to keep it rarer (in theory)... Most of the time 36 hours is considered the maximum here, but again with such a huge window a 6-24 with a missed spawn is more likely.

It's been said non-Cata rares have had their timers "shortened" but there are no specific timers there... The closest there is to that evidence is a spawn is theoretically possible right after a kill, however much more likely from 4 hours onwards (again all the way up to 24/36 hours). Then again ofc there are some oldschool rares that are so commonly spawning they don't really deserve to be called rare haha.

As for the Evalcharr, I don't know. I would guess the same as ever, but if people are saying his is longer... Well there's always the chance of a shorter or longer spawn. Good luck.
