That's what I do, it's fun!

I wish I could do that lol. On principle I couldn't ever re-roll a class I've already done. I'd feel super cheated. Like, I have all these amazing pets/abilities at my disposal but then they've been revoked haha.

3 completely full stables and 5 more to go...

That's pretty sad to make multiple hunters for pets.
Moderation note: This is not an appropriate place for that judgment.

My advice is to not be indecisive and make some choices to narrow your stable to say ~20.
That way you will have room to move when more come out. The about which you actually do/will use.
Having multiple skins of the same family is pretty redundant really other than some of the spirit beasts.. Maybe have 2-3. I'm at 22 myself now after only looking for them randomly for the last 2 weeks off and on and have over half the rares. I've stopped there due to not liking the rest or due to pet redundancy.

I was trying to get one of every buff for awhile there, then realized "Hey, I don't raid, so what's up wit dat?" So, I kept track of all the pets I used for a week, and then one of the unused went back home. It's not exactly a revolving door, but it's getting them narrowed down to the ones I actually like, instead of the ones I think I need.

I did abandon the Brown Madexx, Winna's Kitten and Buru today to make space. Funnily enough, right after abandoning the Brown Madexx I went to check to see if he was up in Uldum and sure as shit, there's the Brown Madexx! Haha, checked /1 Anyone want a Brown Madexx?:: no replies. So I killed it for the tear haha. Anyway, I have slots available now so in-case I get the urge to actually get more..I have slots free now.

Try getting rid of pets that aren't rare spawns ? o.o

And yeah, I'd let go of common/easy to retame pets first.

I myself have 3 hunters I actively play. Between all 3 of them... I have the pets that I want.

I'm making another prediction hmmm... perhaps this thread is going to be split by Moderator into "Morals in video games" .

I suppose I should further indicate that since I've gone Pokemon on Pets recently (I added ALL tamable Rares to NPCscan and all I do now is travel around taking screenshots of me finding them.) that I've found at least 2 dozen homes for rare pets from Vanilla content. The 2 most popular ones are Humar the Pridelord and The Rake from what I've noticed. People are aware of the fact that The Rake is a common model but because it's a "rare" they feel a sense of accomplishment. I've also homed quite a few spiders (and oh boy there's tons out there) especially from Silverpine and Tirisfall Glades. Bone Spiders are a hit whereas Tarantulas are a bust.

Well, I usually keep 1 slot open at all times so I can tame a new pet if I want, but sometimes I need to abandon a pet that isn't a rare spawn and that I never really use/care for that much.

If I'm still unsure, I ask myself, "Which pet would I rather have, the warp stalker or the fox?" Then if it can't say for sure, I look at the special abilities and talent trees and ask myself which ones would be more useful for my style of playing, etc. etc.

As far as the original topic of this thread goes, I recently re-rolled another Hunter basically because 1.) I love leveling, and 2.) I have every class at 85 on Alliance...why not go for the "big bragging rights" and try for all on Horde as well. (Inside Joke mainly. Me and a Guildie have been competing for who has more highest level characters then the other for well over nearly three years now. He beat me in Wrath, so far Im beating him in Cata. ANYWAYS.) With leveling a lowbie hunter after having gotten all the rares and special pets I could fit onto my own Main hunter, leveling a new one is fun! And taming more pets! I get to now tame the "un-rare" pets I couldnt keep in my stable of all "rare-er"'s. I took my lowbie Bloodelf on an adventure to capture that rare white leopard in the NE starting area. The adventure was fun, and I love my kitty to death. ( I wub my kie-kitty yes I do very muches <3 )

I know it seems like you dont want to re-roll another class you've already done, but seriously...give it a try. Things are ALOT different now. Its a whole new experience.

Back to hiking my lowbie to Feralas...

OT: I went through my stables when I hit 24 pets and kept the pets I use the most.
