Lucky just puked up everything he's eaten yesterday/tonight and before this he was puking each day, always in the early hours of the morning, he goes to the litterbox only every couple days or so and thats too pee, he has only dropped two pieces of waste in the last week and they are hardly worth mentioning their so tiny. We had him looked at and we all figured it was his food and switched him to a stomach sensitive product.

I think he has an intestinal blockage or perhaps something in his stomach but we cant afford anything more right now. We've shelled out a few thousand dollars in the last month for my extremely needed dental bill (im not covered by medical or dental since stepdad isnt allowed it.. he has dentures for teeth and diabetic so he cant get medical.) and we've put out a few hundred to have lucky looked at and buy new food for him.

We cant afford x-rays and even if we could we cant possibly afford anything they can offer that will get rid of the block whether its medicine or surgery. I dont know what to do i have a throbbing headache from crying the past hour straight and as im typing this im now balling my eyes out again and just trying to erase any spelling errors im making i dont want to lose him but he isnt getting any nutrients by barfing everything up each night and hes in obvious discomfort and pain when he feels like hes gonna puke and afterwards and i do not want him to die by barfing or ending up nutritionally starving to death ;_;

Try calling vets to see if they'll work out payment plans, or at least give you options. Lucky is gravely ill, and obviously suffering. A vet may give you the option of surrendering Lucky to the clinic to get treatment. It is better than letting him suffer.

Been there, done that, sort of. I wish there was something comforting I could say.

Stepdad woke up to get ready for work just now and told me i can call the vet as soon as they're open so thats good. Im just hoping its something more along the lines of perhaps constipation since thats easier to remedy then what im thinking. Thanks Mir for the hugs :3

ok woke up a little while ago and just called the vet-- srry bleh we were just so exausted we really needed the sleep xP Anyways, vet says that it could be because he has such a sensitive stomach and cause we switched the food without notice-- they said to mix in his old food and wean him off of it and onto the new diet we gave him. If he's still puking tomorrow they said to bring him in to get an over-the-counter shot of some medicine that will calm his stomach enough that he can pass the food through instead of having it digest into goop and get thrown up like he has been.

Thank you guys ^-^ Pets advice seems to have worked *mega cheer* He transitions into new food quite well normally which is why i didnt start weaning him into the new food but they told me it should work and it has :3 He had some alone time in the litterbox and while it wasnt the performance i hoped, i at least know his kidneys are still functioning properly. Hasnt barfed today and he ate some breafast completely fine, now he's lying on my lap watching tv
