This is a great mount. I was asking my husband about him the other day... he um... wouldn't tell me! He said he was going after him first, after I grumbled a few times I tried to look him up and got all this weirdness...

Typed "Deathcharger's Reins" into google and got this link:

Yay! Okay lets click further... I clicked on the item link and wound up here:

WHY DOES IT SAY BOSS DROP! AND WHERE IS RIVEMDARE? (I say that everytime I try to look for information about this guy and wind up on this page...)
Decided to check the dungeon so I click on the Strath link in the chart box under "Boss Drop"
and I am taken here:

At which point I see no one by that name listed...

Help I feel like I keep going around in circles and discovering nothing! /cry!

So my main question is:
1. Is he in Strath
2. Where is this guy!

Hes in Strat and hes on the undead side which i believe is the left side. you have to clear all of the bosses to get his room to open.

Ohh... see, I didn't click level 2 hehe... thanks! It has been a long time. I forgot it had two sides.

Lol np. I gave up on farming mine after my friend got it on his first try on 3 different toons lol.

I think I am missing something very important here. I know you need to kill all the NM's
The ones which I have defeated are:
Baroness Anastari
Nerub'enkan
Maleki the Pallid
Magistrate Barthilas

Am I missing some?

I also get the quest to kill the Baron just in case.. I wait at the gate by the Magistrate to open and no luck... I try the gate near the entrance and still closed (not sure that one is suppose to open anyway)

Edit: Also I have read up on the strats on Wowhead and it appears I am following them.

You only have to kill Baroness, Nerub, and Maleki. After each is down go into the building and kill all the casters inside, then you'll get a zone message yelling that a crystal has been destroyed. You must kill every one of the mobs inside the building or this will not happen. Once you destroy all 3 crystals you can go to the Slaughterhouse, kill all the Abominations, then the spawned mobs, then you can enter and kill the Baron.

I don't know how many times I have gone through the dungeon in the past, not going for the mount then, but this time I tried it 3 times in a row and got the drop. I am very happy.
