SO! I decided I wanted Ashtail like 20mins ago. I added him to my NPCscan and told myself I'd go check on him after I make my attempts at getting the Epic Cloth Helm from BRD. I got locked out, anyway.... I fly on over to Loch'Modan and what happened? NPCSCAN went ape! There he was just a walking down the forest singing "tame me plz tame me tame me tame me" Before I knew he it he was walking next to me singing "You tamed me, tamed me tamed me tamed me." HE LOOKS GOOD, HE LOOKS GOOD, HE LOOKS FINE HE LOOKS FINE!

Edit: Really tho, I freakin love the color.

I have actually kinda been eyeballing this beauty on petopia, but was on the fence about if I wanted him or not.

No probs! I was on the fence about it myself for a LONG while. I tamed a Baradin Fox and tested him out to see if I liked the "aesthetics" of the pet and I REALLY didn't like it much. I think it was all about the color really. Once I had the notion of "Awww fuck it, let's go get me an Ashtail." and tamed it, I love him. the color is just "right" ya know?

ALSO: I just went on a taming binge with my guildy buddy. I got him the following Rare-Pets today:

Pogeyan
Rak'Shiri
Tsul'Kalu
Qirot
Arash-ethis
--and--
The Razzar

He only had Terrorpene and Madexx(Blue, which I got him a week ago) and Echeyakee so he was stunned to get so many rares in 1 day. I think he's in love with Pogeyan

I know exactly what you mean! I used to have the white fox model, and though I really like the fox models, it just didn't seem "right".
I like the little red ones, though, but I am full on stable slots
I love Ashtails eye color though, it really sets him off.
And congrats on your other tams too.
I really dig pogeyan, and qirot is a nice one too.
I love rak'shiri now, but after the patch and he changes back to blue, I think I might trade him in for one of the solid whites or the white and blue one, not sure yet

I had originally dropped my Ashtail for the Death Ravager, but then I started missing him (or in my case, a her). After a few weeks, I finally asked my husband, "Should I just drop my ravager and get Ashtail back?" and he happened to be doing Archaeology in the area. Ashtail was up, so I had him come look at the two and he sighed and said, "Drop the ravager.. Ashtail is cuter." Haha. I do love my ravager, but I like Ashtail more.

Yes, I do have the fox kit- but it was not enough! Ashtail and my toon work quite well together. I went in to do a heroic with my husband to level Ash (asked in party if anyone cared if I used her- everyone was cool with it), and I was pulling 14k dps with a lvl 83 fox. Love it.

I just need a name. I'm bad at this. I was thinking "Mozilla" but after some for-serious thought I came to the conclusion, that particular name would be too Cliche/Nerdy. POINTERS PEOPLE, POINTERS!

I named mine Foxfire, but he's red. Shadowfire? Foxflame?

Shadowfox? Kinda a play on words between Shadowfax who's the Lord of all Horses and is the fastest/strongest/etc and Fox! Shadow just fits because of the grey tone!

Or name it Nocturnal =P
Foxes are indeed nocturnal, but I take the name from a daedric lord on Elder Scrolls 4. The leader of the thieves guild who called himself the Grey Fox stole a magic cowl from Nocturnal (who is the daedric lord).
My little brother had me name his foxy Nocturnal. He's a huge fan of Oblivion, though =P

My own grey foxy doesn't have a very creative name... His name is Steak ^_^
