Hi fellow manians,

My stable is full at the moment, so it is time to decide whether to keep tsul'kalu or uhk'loc. Both are rare but they share the same white gorilla skin.

Need to let go one of it to free up my stable. I can't really decide it myself, inputs would be greatly appreciated. I hope I didn't post on the wrong section.

Hmm, I suppose it just comes down to what aspects appeal to you from the individual rares themselves.

Uhk'loc has the prestige of being the 'original' white gorilla, so if you're fond of nostalgia and other such sentiments then I would lean towards him.

Tsul'kalu is a fresh identity with elemental ties, plus being a Troll god. If you have the other Stranglethorn rares then he would complement them as a 'set'.

I just like taming rare pets. I guess it is down to which one is rarer and have a longer spawn timer.

I would keep uhk'loc if it was me. He's the original white rare gorilla. (and he is Bitka's favorite)

Dont be harsh because he's contemplating which pet to abandon. I'll save you some time and tell you this website/forum is supposed to be a constructive and happy place for all hunter/pet lovers out there.

You don't have to belittle a question that someone has and maybe if you offered a sincere reply it would be more constructive then "just abandon one idiot its all the same!" ~ I read between the lines there on what you said.

Different pets have different attachments to many of the hunters out there, even when they share the same skin. I know many hunters out there who would rather camp Humar for 1 hour than to flip into Sholazar to pick up Pitch, why? Because Pitch isnt the same, he doesnt have the history behind him. Names like Araga, Broken Tooth, Timber, Bjarn, The Rake, Clutchmother, etc all have other regular mobs that share the same skin. Having Random Polar Bear from Dragonblight just isnt the same as fighting with Bjarn.

White gorilla is white gorilla.

Lore can be anything you want it to be.

Id keep whichever you've had the longest.

Well, at this point the more hunted gorilla would probably be Tsul'kalu. He is new and more people want him, not to mention more traffic in his area meaning he's going to be killed more often by people who come across him and see the silver dragon.

On the other hand, as everyone has already said, Uhk'loc has the history and prestige behind him to be considered a very worthy addition to any stable. I would think of it this way. Which one would you be more impressed by if someone ELSE had them? Would you be more impressed that someone tamed Tsul, fighting through the hunters looking for him cause he's new and shiny, or would you be more impressed by someone who had went out of their way to grab a piece of WoW history by taming Uhk, the original white gorilla. In the end, if it doesn't matter which one and you just want the rarer one, right now i would say Uhk is rarer, just because many hunters are grabbing Tsul, at least on my server. Hope that helps!

Royi pretty much nailed it. The /pity was really unnecessary. Some people just enjoy hunting different rares.
