I really do, I hate them to no end even if im not arachnophobic, so it stroke me really weird the feel of wanting to tame a spider on my 19 hunter twink, and looked on petopia for the most nasty, horrible and creepy spider I could find.
So I laid my eyes on the skitterweb matriarch in silverpine forest, I walked from menethil to Silverpine and went inside the mine, following the red dot that said ''skitterweb matriarch''.
I reach the end of the tunnel, look around, where it is?

Oh Dear God. It is in the celling.

No backing up, already walked all the way over here, will tame it and so, I start taming.
But when I see the way it starts to descend...
Nerveless to say, I didn't resist the creeps and shot it to death >< if I had a flamethrower I could have used it too.
Just so I didn't made the travel in vain, I tamed one of the lurkers outside the cavern. And named it really aptly too.

Im not taming another spider again save for the crystal ones @__@

What an odd yet lovely story =D If I could tame a mushroom to get over my fear of them, I would, haha...

It's a gorgeous spider though, congratulations ^^

Haha yeah when I did that quest on my undead it freaked me out quite a bit and Im not that scared of spiders lol.

Once you get used to the spikes, webs, creepy ticks and way it moves it's legs, it is actually pretty...
But hopefully people in the battlegrounds won't have time to admire it.
And I still have the churning stomach and goosebumps in my stomach (Yes, was about 15 mins ago)

My gf has one of the floofy green spiders on her NE hunter, and she thinks it's the most adorable thing in the world, yet every time she even thinks she sees a spider in real life the "EEEK!"s start and she runs for her life until I finally decide to get around to doing something about it lol.

Anywho, the spider you got is my favorite model of spider, and one of my favorite pets (even though she isn't a rare)

I have that exact spider on my baby belf hunter and I love her even though I'm arachnophobic.
I took a bunch of screenshots of the matriarch just because it's one of the neater things I've seen in WoW, even though it's pretty creepy.

It is, but that spider would be the least of my concerns in my area if I lived in it's time (Or course I would still scream like a little girl and piss my pants) @___@

Oh well, after taming that spider, I decided that, well, im already near the top of the map, so why not and went and tamed something less... long legged.
(Note to self: Restock on swiftness potions, running through the plaguelands by feet is still a bad idea even with the reduced mob level)

And well, meanwhile to keep camping Aotona on main hunter
