The goods and the bads.

First we shall start with the good. Was headed to the dwarven digsite near Thundermar for archeology and flew over Sambas. Already tamed him and hit up a guildie and found him a new home. After the tame, not even a minute later I finally got torched by Deathwing.
Now the bad. Also from flying from archeology I finally spotted terrapene. Told the same guildie who started flying out. Only problem was an 81 hordie with an 85 priest trying to tame it. Failed many times due to not keeping threat. Friend finally gets there and waits for the horde to die again. Instead of giving up and backing off, they killed terrapene in spite.
Please be a sport. If you fail 5 times, give it up to someone that can tame him.

Yay rehoming win! And grats for the death achieve! I also have to agree, after 2 deaths from Ghostcrawler I let someone else nearby tame him, not worth the hassle! I came back 2 days later and got him anyway.

Grats on the tame, and what a pity about the kill :/
I agree, if you try and fail, keep trying... at least until someone else who is prepared comes along. Never any point in killing a spawn to prevent someone else from taming it < 3

Ouch man, if only the priest was an actual good priest and was Disc for a pro bubble on the 81 horde hunter. Least they didn't kill you and then retry the tame while being on your corpse (something I would do, provided we're both logged onto a PVP server.)
Anyrate, you now know when the last time was that he was tamed/killed, so you know when to go back.
