So, my troll huntress Rinfala has a ravager. She rode to Azuremyst in her 40's to tame the Death Ravager, where he promptly tried to give her a kiss eat her face.



I like him! He's pretty, he's blue, he goes well with my troll, and ravagers are charming. ...But damn if the little bugger hasn't managed to shake off every name I try to give him. I decided to try something new for Rinfala's pets, and her naming theme are two-part names, frequently descriptive--Darkclaw for his black claws, Gemstone for her faceted scales, Ashmaw for his grey hide and black teeth. While I'd like something suitable to this guy's fierce nature and vicious spikes, I'm truly at a loss. That's where you come in! I need a name for this ferocious fellow, so that he and I can go on adventures without that nagging feeling of 'but this name doesn't ffiiiitttt... :C'

Argh, all I've got for now.

Well, I don't know if this is "your style", so to speak, of names but if I can't think of a good name I name it with two words (usually from nature, but it can vary )

Things like Grassclaw, Starspirit, Fierceheart, Stormcry, Bouncepaw,
Feathermoon, Flameshadow, Stonesong, Runningsoul, etc.
Dunno if this helps, but it might be a good try

I find sometimes just refreshing the name on that page can give me ideas even if the name itself isn't exactly what I was looking for. I might take half of the name I see and connect it to a different word, or draw inspiration from the general tone of the name generated. Either way, it's great for brainstorming.

Yar, I've been refreshing that until the names start to all jumble up in my head. @_@ Combining my own ideas with it have...led here.

Razorgouge? lol sadly i cant think of any others at the moment, in the proccess of going to bed and that name was the first thing to pop

Looking at what others have suggested, I thought of Razortooth. I also kind of like Ripsnarl for him, though I realise Ripsnarl already exists... It just seems appropriate.

Hmm...Ripspine perhaps?

I named mine in all honesty, BlueRasberry i'll link a english-elvish translation site i know of incase you wanna use that though its very limited. One name you might perhaps like, Gorgorath which means Terror/Horror in elvish :3 I named my Chromaggus that but its also fitting for a ravager if you want to go with a savage evil name

I think the name that fits him best, in my mind, is Coolmint He's cute, and i think the name works well with him :3
