Finally, after almost four months.

It was dead quiet at work on Friday, so I left a little early. I swung by a pet store to pick up a 55 gallon aquarium kit that was on sale. Since I'm not ready to set it up yet, I put it in the 2nd bedroom/office where my computers are. Figured after lugging that thing in I'd sit down and log into WoW to do dailies and such.
I did a few passes over the Basin, then went off to do some dailies. I really wasn't in a WoW playing mood so I used my Argent tabard to port back to Northrend and flew over toward the Nesingwary camp to log off. Since I was coming in from Icecrown, flew around the Glimmering Pillar then, pretty much on autopilot, turned and followed the western side of the basin south.
I nearly jumped out of my chair when NPC Scan, Silver Dragon, and ESN Rarefinder (which I didn't even know I still had enabled) all went off at once and popped up images of Krush on the screen. I went right into a dive, hoping that it wasn't a false alarm and that he'd actually be alive, actually saying to myself "Don't be dead, don't be dead." There he was, strutting past some rhinos just south of the Maker's Perch.
I just ran in and hit Tame Beast. Almost immediately he feared almost right into a nearby rhino which thankfully didn't aggro. I started the tame again, watching the timer tick down, hoping that something wouldn't screw it up. Then he was mine.
So after looking for the fella for just shy of four months, having made an estimated 6k gold by gathering Adders Tongue and Goldclover along his routes and then dumping them dirt cheap on the ah, and having to clear my cache because somewhere in Orgrimmar there seems to be one or more hunters with the fella out all the time, I finally tamed King Krush.
For anyone interested, it was on Argent Dawn at 17:43 server time on Friday.
I've gotten the fella up to 84 now. Once he hits 85 he'll be replacing my orange devilsaur and taking over the name Grumpy from his predecessor.
