Companion pets persist through a bunch of stuff

What the title says. No more forgetting to resummon! :D
t seems to me that they will now persist through log outs, dungeonqueues, BG queues, deaths of a variety of reasons, and summons. This is very neat, now I won't be without a companion again.

Companion pets will now survive:
  • Log outs
  • Dungeonfinder teleports
  • Deaths from a variety of reasons
  • Summons from warlocks
  • Mage teleports/portals
  • Flight paths
  • Arenas, though they still won't be in the actual arena during combat
  • Battlegrounds, and they will join you during the combat.

Well it looks like the wee fellas persist through logouts as well. :D And they follow you much faster and more obediently than ever!

The wee cub has a pet biscuit buff on him. I haven't tried yet if it stays on when I zone out or logout, but I'll let you know when I do.
But.
Would it be too much to ask to make these little guys tamable? D8 They're oh so adorable! I had to go tame myself a new kitty to go alongside the cub. Absolutely adore the model.

And apart from that, the baradin foxes seems to have been shrinked.

I noticed my armadillo pup next to me after a death last night, but thought that perhaps I'd just forgotten that I'd resummoned the little guy.

On an only slightly related note, the size of the ogre model that's applied when you use a Carved Ogre Idol has been reduced so that when you run around, it looks like something from a Benny Hill skit.

Things I discovered yesterday while rampaging about on my druid, lil' baby phoenix in tow:

-Companions remember to rejoin you after you finish an arena match. They're not foolish enough to actually go into the arena with you, though!
-Companions will follow you into battlegrounds. Stealthers beware, don't do what I did and start creeping up on the enemy with a bright ball of fire bobbing after you. :?
