So my mom reactivated her account today - /EXCITED!!! Because I <3 playing WoW with my mom
And!! Now I can find rare pets for her hunter!

So she hopped on my back (Sandstone Drake ftw!) and we took a ride around the world to find her some rares. Boy, I wish I had this kind of luck on my own....

We went on down to Sholazar, hoping to come across Loque for her. Before she quit playing, I had found Skoll for her while TLPD hunting. So it was high time we got her some more spirits! I told her about the three beasts in Sholazar and asked her if she would be down for Aotona and Krush. "I wanna tame all of 'em!" she said =P
"Well, King Krush is a big green dino - BLAAAMMMM!! (NPC Scan) - And there he is!" - Me

I gave the momxorz a Fear Ward and stood by to get a good shot...

So he fears me.. Awesome.

One down and we haven't even been looking for 15 minutes..
Camped for quite a bit for my dino. Mom is a cheater.


Now we head off to Zul'Drak - Avoiding Storm Peaks because I just knew we'd find Skoll. And he's annoying. Lookin' around for Gondria, but instead we find this guy..

Mom was totally down for getting her a spider (*creeped out daughter no likey the spiders..*), so I kept to my dragon form incase she tried any funny business! >_>!

He does look pretty cool though!!


We finish the route around Northrend, no Arcturis - back to Sholazar, no Loque. Mom still has to set her hearth in SW, so I figured we'd take the boat over to Menethil, sweep through Twilight Highlands and then port back to SW. Nothing in Twilight Highlands, so mom sets her hearth and goes off to get some lunch while I snag some low-level rares for her. Swiped her Pogeyan and Deathmaw before she came back (she loves Deathmaw's bark ^_^), then scooped up Ashtail when she came back
Stuff him in the stable and over the hill to Twilight Highlands. I expected to find Karoma in TH, AGAIN, as he is always hanging out by the arena place (forgot the name ). I nearly scared my mom as we flew over the hill and our alerts go off for..SAMBAS?!? WAT! He wasn't here earlier wsndfbfgkgbdf
"MOM THERE'S YOUR LION!!!" I shouted and scared her to death lol


WOW I was in shock. I camped mine for several hours, but I was in utter disbelief we found him by just flying over the mountain @_@!! I'm sure she'll <3 Sambas as much as I do =P


Be-bopped our way through Northrend again, still nothing. Except King Ping and Tukemuth. We were both alittle sad that she couldn't tame King Ping lol He's so awesome. But I got him for my priest's achievement >_<!
We spotted someone with a Wintersaber Cub and we just had to go get one! Took the port to Hyjal and decided to check on the flaming turtle. I thought, "Eh! He MIGHT just be there.."


He was.. Wow. I camped 8 days for mine @_@ MOM IS STILL CHEATING.


Wow, mom. Share your luck?? I mean, really..
Finishing our trek to Winterspring, I land behind the Everlook Inn (avoiding my arch nemesis', the goblins ;O!) while she runs in and gets her own cub. Cub in tow, took her over to Frostsaber Rock, where she tamed a Frostsaber Stalker and Rak'Shiri!! Sporting his classic green coat 8-D No screenshot, unfortunately >_<
Decided to take her down to Felwood to look for Mr. Owl. Lucky Mom strikes again T_T!!

Back to Northrend we go, and I just know there's gotta be a Spirit Beast waitin' for us. With mom's luck like this, there had to be. Sholazar, nothing.. Even checked Storm Peaks (cringe), nothing. Zul'Drak.. all the spawn points seemed like duds at first, then I decided to look down at the fifth spawn - Gondria!! NPC Scan..didn't..go off..ok.


Now mom has 2/6 Spirit Beasts ! Woot!
We wrapped up the hunt after we checked for Arcturis, then I pointed her in the direction of Ghostcrawler and headed off for church.

Mom's luck is just insane, seriously lol =P

Update:
Home from church, feelin' pretty tired.. Decided to go and check for some more rares for my mom, but half way through my search she goes to sleeps >_<! Now I have to double box if I find something. Oh boy..
Went on down to Vashj'ir for Ghostcrawler, seemed pretty empty for a while. All I saw was that big elite monster swimming overhead a few times. Man, that thing gives me to heebee-jeebees..
So I'm swimming along, jamming to some music. Gonna check one more spot then go to slee-AMFDHHTSJ *pee'd myself* GHOSTCRAWLER FOUND!! I didn't realize how loud my sound was, the NPC Scan alert was penetrating my soul, it was so loud @_@


There he is, AGAIN.

Loaded another copy of WoW and hoofed/winged/finned it to Vashj with the momxorz hunter. Since I was double-boxing, I had to be quick with my bubbles/Pain Suppression and stuff to get the tame off without momxorz dying. So, unfortunately there was no screenshot of the tame >_<! But now mom is the proud owner of 3/6 Spirit Beasts!! Yays

Now back to my Hawkbane hunt -^_^-!

I found Hawkbane last night myself. Only took like 5mins. Tho, I didn't tame him, took a screenshot and left. I don't got space for him unfortunately.

Ghostcrawler is a pretty sweet looking beast, I might start using him sometime soon. (Been using Gondria as of late, and I have yet to actually use GC for PVP/PVE. He needs his time to shine.)

Scored three more beauties for my mommy in the past week

First up is the gorgeous Aotona<3 Found her while on my route for Loque'Nahak


After nabbing Aotona, I flew my mom's hunter out to Grizzly Hills and continued hunting Loque with my hunter. Was easier on my comp with two copies of WoW going lol
Unfortunately, no luck that time on either camp spots.

The next morning at 6 AM, we're all up and getting ready to go prepare for my birthday party (turned 19 May 1st ), so I while everyone is still getting readym I logged on my moms hunter and decided to check for Mr. Bear. While I'm logging in, I'm telling my cousin how I tend to find rares alot when around 6 AM. Log in, turn around (no addons activated for my mom's huntard to reduce lag), there's Mr. Bear just a-beboppin' down the hill. Turned to my cousin like, "YEEEAH. Sup." and began the tame


So now mom is down to 4/6 Spirit Beasts! Last on the list is Loque.
Earlier today, I decide to fly out to Sholazar and have a lookie for the leopard. To be quick (and cover Madexx spawn points) I take the portal to Uldum.. No Madexx : /owells.
Flying past all the Loque spawns with no luck, when suddennllyy BLAAAMMMM! NPC-Scan.. King Krush -_-! Stinky Dino. He's taunting me now because I had to camp him lol. Fly a bit farther towards the tiny river annd BLAAMM! LOQUE!!! And Krush?? LOL!
I tag Loque and pull him away from the river to keep him safe, while my moms hunter (double boxing again) begins it's long flight from Storm Peaks. When she finally comes into range, dropped down and began taming! 5/6 Spirits. Karoma, we come for you next >:)

In other news! I picked up two new additions to my own stable!! My hunt is nearly finished, all that remains is Red Madexx!

Waited a little bit, flew a round, and BLAM- Karoma! Tamed him and then stuck him back at a Sambas spot- was pretty shocked when he spawned right next to me a short time after. Needless to say, his characters are spoiled. He was very shocked when I told him to open his stables and saw 4 new pets! Bryn slightly wanted to murder me each time I yelped in gchat, as Aeonaxx had been playing hide and seek with her >_<

If only my luck was ALWAYS that amazing. Not that I'm complaining, when put into perspective, my luck isn't all that bad...

I think we have good rare luck for other people because we are doing it for someone else. Good Karma or something. I love it, it's just a great feeling

On topic: I know that feeling -_-! I can't complain too much with rares, I've found some for myself when I REALLY wanted them by just flying by and going, "Oh hey.. there they are. *ahem*../tame" But that's usually spread over a few days o_O Not for my mom! Oh noo..crap ton of rares in one day lol

Aaaaaah! How lucky! Man, I'm wishing I had your mom's luck right now... the only rare I just stumbled upon was Gondria, and that was when I was flying over to camp Skoll >_< Great cat, wrong time. I had to camp Loque for quite a few hours before he spawned for me.

Also, I really need to start screencapping my tames.

In compensation, here's my babies. I have disastrous luck- I've camped almost all the rares for days, and these were the only two I've managed to nab.




Wish me luck on my Sambas, Arcturis, and Skoll hunts!

Also: it's really getting on my nerves that all spirit beasts are ferocity... What I wouldn't give for Arcturis to be able to have tenacity talents.
