Apparently we're gonna get various new pets in cataclysm, such as the Fox, Gilnean Mastiff, and some monkey.

I don't know about you, but I'm totally making a female goblin hunter with a Fox pet. <3

Does anyone have any pictures of new cataclysm pets?

Where did you get the info about those pets?
I've never read or heard about them.

Fox sounds pretty cool but I'd rather go for a human hunter with a dog (mastiff). Sounds pretty cool to me.

That's where I got the info from, although it's not certain, it would be great to get these pets.

Say, Karathyriel, How did you make your signature? Is there any way I could get one somewhere?

I'm still not sure about the Gilnean Mastiff. If there aren't ones hostile to Alliance, then it'll likely not be tameable. >.<

Foxes seem reasonable. I'd tame one.

New monkey will be nice, hehe.

Fox might be nice to tame. Hehe, would be nice for some far-out colored ones.

They've also mentioned the possibility of currently untameable beast to become pets, such as the Zhevra, Giraffe and Deer.

Yeah it got buried. Several people haven't seen it and opened new threads for Cata pet stuffs. It's ok.

I looked at the picture with the Fox but it doesn't show if it's an animal...maybe it's just a critter? =//

It does say it's level 7, if you look at the lower right hand corner tooltip. I would think newer content would keep critters at level 1. Probably just not labeled as a beast yet, too early in production at the time of the screenshot.

I don't believe it is a critter, seeing as it is level 7. At least, I hope it isn't, I've wanted a pet fox since I first started playing.

Aren't the cows in Elwynn or deers lvl 5?

Deer are level 5, as I recall.

I would LOVE a fox pet...

the monkey looks like a critter to me, the new dog appears to be a reskinned demon dog model so maaaaybe. could be a bunch of pets gone feral after the spread of hte worgen curse

Unfortunately there's been nothing yet that proves that these new beasts are going to be hunter pets, but we can hope for it!
