Eagle flight animation

After the most recent patch, I pulled my eagle out of the stables to find that its flight animation has been fixed! Now he glides behind me instead of doing that annoying hovering.
There is some bad news though; while in Northrend I tamed one of the newer model carrion birds, and it seems that their flight animations are still bugged.
Nonetheless, I'm stoked that the eagles are fixed, at least.

awe when my eagle was fixed i thought that carrion birds had been as well, they were the first (to my knowledge) out of the buggy birds to get complaints

I really hope they fix condors soon. Those are my absolute favorites in the game. My human hunter has two, Bane and Cress, waiting patiently for the day she can use them without their flight animation making her twitch.

Wee! I was so excited to see my eagle fixed! But bummed about the condors. :[
Nether Rays are still broken, as well.

i dont think nether rays will ever be fixed.. the eagles and condors did/do use a twin model of the Stormcrow (night elf flying shapeshift form) that does not have a run animation while nether rays dont have two models to choose from, theres no default option for em :<

Sometimes I just run around so my eagle can glide behind me, definitely my favorite animation.

The stormcrow model is still bugged. I've always liked the look of the Fjord Hawks, but that hover-run annoys me too much

Test in the 4.2 ptr... I was told they should be fixed.

What gets me is that every time I report this, I don't get 'it'll be fixed' I get 'working as intended'. Do these people even LOOK to see how stupid it is that they can't fly straight? I want a brown hawk something fierce but oh no, they have to be gimped. Hell, the Loch Condors were, for awhile, working properly and then they mysteriously got UN-fixed one day so now they're gimpy like every other condor.

Hopefully this time they really will be fixed.
I discovered the culprit behind the glitched animations recently, and it seems it was passed along.
