Morinaur's Journal (a little violent and very img heavy)
Posted: Thu May 05, 2011 4:41 pm
((I tried to make one for my hunter that ive been working on but the fact we change pets so often drove me nuts since I was finding it very difficult to RP how I left one pet and aquired another so ive decided to make a journal for my newest creation, Morinaur the worgen warlock. I am not a writer so I do apologize if you notice a lot of things that may be wrong with my typing.. grammer, punctuation, lack of vocabulary-- English is my first language but I wasnt very well taught (oh the irony, my dad is an english major).))
((Also note that I do not follow the quest lines nor do I write exactly what happened in each. There are maaaany other adventurers so I just pretend they're doing all the quests I didnt write about and that im writing down my experiences, not what the game is telling me I should be experiencing (example: Greymane and Krennan trying to give me back my sanity after i became a worgen. I decided I never lost my sanity but they still saw me as a mindless beast that fell blindly to the curse). I hope that covers everything...))
((Err lol one more thing-- even though there is for the most part no swearing or gorey descriptions in this journal there will be, Mironaur is a human that shares her mind with the presence of a demon when she gave her soul for power and the worgen curse. She will be having little outbursts once in a while.))
<You discover a tattered black book, it is obviously well worn from use and poor care. You look away to continue searching the rest of the ruins of the town but your eyes continue to find themselves looking upon the book. You decide to pick it up, hearing a clang of something metal falling inside a house and quickly run away a safe distance with the book in hand. You open it and notice claw marks on the back of the books front cover. The pages are torn, clawed, and stained.>
Page 1.
"Who am I...?"
"What... what am I?"
"Demon."
<The word Demon is written in a green ink that wisps from the page and seethes with foul energy.>
"Not always... What was I once?"
"Not importaint."
"Why?"
"You have no past."
"I did too! I wasn't always like this... I remember... people."
"You killed them. Do you remember that?"
<Claw marks line the length of the bottom half of the page, you can still read the rest of the writing however.>
"Oh.. Right... I guess I did. For power. I didn't want to be afraid anymore... Yes. I remember now. That... Hey! Theres a puppy in the corner over there, locked in a cage. Can I pet him?"
"Only if you want to lose your sanity."
"Havent I already lost it?"
<The strange babbling between the two writers have stopped. You guess the writer using the green ink did not know what to say or was perhaps offended by the question. You flip the page and find more random babbling and a photograph of one of the writers.>

Page 2.
"You let the puppy out."
"I wanted to pet it... It looked so sad and alone... It bit me though, see? It really hurt..."
<You look down the rest of the page and see blood drops dotting along the length of the paper, as if she really had outstretched her hand to show the second writer. You also see the same claw marks you saw on the other page but again they don't impede your reading.>
"What did you do to the puppy?"
"I killed it. But before I did it... it snarled to me... and I could understand it. The puppy called me 'packsister'. Also, it turns out puppy wasnt so small. It was taller then I was and it even stood on two legs! Strange puppy, its dead now though."
"Your going to lose me now."
"What!?! No, your everything I know... You keep me safe from the monsters... I cant lose you."
"You pet the puppy, now your going to lose your sanity. Puppy's going to overpower us both and you will roam the forests like a mindless beast."
<You flip to the next page and there are a few lines of text followed with long claw marks. You quickly glance over to the next page and find it completely blank, and unshredded.>
Page 3.
"My head... Oh god... my handsszzz--"
<The writing becomes scratchy, like a person whos shivering from bone-chilling cold. You continue the sentence.>
"-- What, what is happening to me... Help... Help... He..."
<The writing ends as ink line makes a jaggad black scar down the page and the claw marks begin. Flipping past the blank page you see the writing has become sinister and no longer are the sentences conversational.>

Filthy wretches, I'll rip their heads from their bodies the second they let their guard down. How dare they improsion me in this crude wooden contraption. The man known as Godfrey wished to put me down, claiming I was a mindless creature with no remorse for any of the lives I have and may yet take. He will be the first to die and I will take much pleasure in it. The man named Greymane and this, alchemist dubbed Krennan tried and succeeded to save me from the Gallows and they have my infinite thanks. At least until they give me a reason to rip their heads off and tear their hearts out.

Other worgen like me along with human Gilneans are walking the town freely, the worgen are still being shunned to some extent by the humans but they seem to be in a mutual relationship with eachother. War is probably the reason for this, I along with many others have discovered sentient undead beings called Forsaken have raided our shores.

Expertly I took the lives of many of these foul creatures and slew the captains of both ships. I was sent soon after to a small farming village west of the main town Duskhaven and while I do not understand the point of saving this womans children I did so anyways. I was also charged with killing a vile 'Dark Ranger'. She posed some threat but I was the better skilled. I guess I also owe some of the credit of my accomplishments to this imp creature that keeps following me. He calls himself Tarrot.

Not soon after I went below into the cellar to ensure the children were with their mother, we were hit with a massive earthquake. The cellar doors were unblocked and we crawled out dazed and confused to see the village in complete ruins and the land given way into the unforgiving sea. Greymanes son, Liam was at the shores and together we saved as many of the survivors as we could before we grew too weary and risked drowning our selves to continue anymore.

Page 7.
Liam pointed me back to Duskhaven where I was given a horse for quick transport to Greymane Manor. We were told that we would be evacuating to another town called Stormglen. It was a very wet and dreary trip up there and I was thankful for both the horse and shelter within the manor. I weaved through the citizens that were confronting Greymanes wife and headed to his observatory. He lent the telescope to me, saying there was something very dire on the horizon and what I saw was several warships. I saw something flying above them but I was clumsy with manuvering the telescope and could not get a proper view of it.

We fled on a stagecoach that had been prepped for the long journey and set out. The horses seemed troubled by my presence but kept on track. Just as we were nearing the final bend to Stormglen however we discovered Liam's stagecoach toppled over. I jumped off to see if there was anything I could do for him and there was. Survivors of a stagecoach before Liam's had fallen off of a short cliffside into a marsh full of crocolisks. After dealing with the reptilian beasts I was directed to slay ogres and steal the banner of a local forest ettin, Liam said he had plans for the monsterous brute.
Ha! Liam is a geniuous! We were confronted with a large band of Forsaken and he threw the banner directly at them which was seen by the forest ettin and he took all his anger out upon them. There was nothing left of the band and the brute returned back to the hills with his banner in tow. We head for Stormglen now. I wonder what perils lay in store us now.
((Also note that I do not follow the quest lines nor do I write exactly what happened in each.
