Semi Perma Ghost Coyote Pet

I'm sure you guys have noticed now that mini pets tend to no longer need to be resummon when changing zones, etc.
One thing that I noticed tonight was to do with Don Carlos' Famous Hat. This hat allows you to summon a life sized, ghostly coyote pet while equipped, but only while equipped. Now with the current changes with pets being remembered, if you now equip the hat, summon, and then take the hat off, the pet remains, and will so as you travel from zone to zone.
Anyways just a neat thing I thought I'd share

Sweet! That ghost coyote has to be one of my favorite minipets, if not my favorite. Thanks for sharing.

Pretty awesome, I'll need to try that though my main seems to lose pets more often with this latest patch. They'll disappear randomly without me changing zones or anything. My alts on the other hand can't seem to shake their pets no matter what.

Oh neat! I didn't think about that one as I never managed to get the hat. But would be great to have out too as it should fly with you while on a flying mount

Huh? Haunted Memento always summons the shade as long as it is in your bag and you don't have another mini pet to override it. Or do you mean you can bank it and it calls it anyway? I'm confused lol.

I totally just love this companion
I hope they don't nerf it/take it away. (If you have to blizzard, at least let us "learn" the coyote spirit?
)
Anyways, totally used this and my grimtotem wolf and ran around stormwind. GOOD TIME
