NPC Scan

Maybe a dumb question but I don't know where else to ask this. I just downloaded NPC Scan in my relentless pursuit of Skoll. It seems to be working correctly but some of the names are bolded (including Skoll) while others are grayed out. Not cached, just bold. I tried Googling it, no answers ere forthcoming so does anyone know why this is?

If your in the same zone as where they spawn, they are bold to tell you what NPC's you will find in that zone. If you download _NPCScan Overlay, it will give you patrol routes for all rarespawns from Outland, Northrend, and Cataclysm (not Azeroth, just the lvl 80-85 zones within Azeroth)

Well that was my initial thought but Arcturis and Gondria are also bolded. Perhaps because they are so close?

Thanks for the tip! Sounds much better than tabbing out to check routes.

I tamed Skoll on Argent Dawn at around 7:11 PM server time, 5/5/11 (yesterday), in the easternmost spawn point. Hopefully that'll help you out calculating when he respawns...

Sorry for taking him from you. He's well worth the camp, though, I've been searching off and on for the past few weeks.

If the NPC has just a general 'area' entered in it (Northrend, Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms) and it doesnt have a 'sub area' (Storm Peaks, Zul'Drak, Grizzly Hills) then it will be bolded. Not always does NPCScan understand the sub area so i usually leave that part blank and just give it the main one.

It just means that if you run into them while not in their proper zone, it will alert you in chat 'hey hey, this guy was found but its not the right zone so its obviously a hunters pet but im going to tell you anyways cause i can' XDD thats my version that i threw in for an example, it doesnt really tell you like that keke
