10-14hr. He can vary outside of this, sometimes quite widely within a 6-24 hour range, but it seems significantly more rare than 10-14. I, and friends I've met along the way of camping whichever color I wanted on each of my 85 hunters, have met with good success working that timer. In fact, here's the dates and times of the sightings while camping Ziarre's blue Samira.

12.27 - 5:10 p.m. (black)
12.28 - 3:56 a.m. (red)

02.01 - 2:05 a.m. (green)
02.01 - 1:07 p.m. (green)
02.02 - 3:51 a.m. (red)
02.03 - 10:32 a.m. (red)
02.04 - 11:05 p.m. (brown)
02.05 - 11:41 a.m. (black)
02.05 - 11:56 p.m. (brown)
02.08 - 12:20 a.m. (red)

02.08 - 3:56 p.m. (red)
02.09 - 4:05 p.m. (brown)
02.10 - 3:26 p.m. (green)
02.12 - 2:24 p.m. (black)
02.13 - 12:57 a.m. (blue)

Ziarre and Tufani's Madexx each have their own different names.

6 - 24 hours but most often I've seen him popup between 8 - 17 hrs.

Damn that sucks...

Just do what I did to find mine. Check early in the morning/late at night when most people are asleep/raiding. No camping involved for any of mine, just the occasional check up to see if he was there. It's also good to note I'm on a high population realm!

That's definitely not true.

During the week I was there I saw a dead one first (Blue), tamed next one (Red), tamed next one (Blue), gave the next one to a friend (Blue), missed next spawn, tamed the next one (Black), tamed the next one (Brown), killed the next one (Brown), tamed the next one (Green).

You should really try patrolling around instead of sitting in a single place. I grabbed at least two of them while you were sitting afk a hundred feet in the sky.

Edit: This was all within 1 week.

From personal experience a rare can be just outside the circle on your minimap and NPCscan can be completely oblivious to it, especially if you are not within visual range... so like Raxx said you probably have been getting really bad luck from not patrolling around more

Not trying to start a fight or anything but if you had been moving around you'd have beat me to 2 of them. A Red and a Black, two of the three you were trying to buy.

and I would've had the green one if someone hadn't snaked in the middle of a tame. Something that is not appreciated here at all.

I couldn't pass up the last Madexx color after camping for a week and it being random spawn and color, for all I know it could have been another two weeks before a green showed up again. It's a PvP server anyways. I'm sorry it had to go down that way.

Oh really a week hmm I was waiting what 2 weeks for that one madexx, and according to your claims you go 4 within the week ya bite me as far as I'm concerned your nothing more then scum. I wouldn't have done the same to you if I saw you taming it I would've just said oh well and waited for the next spawn. PvP realm or not.

EDIT: In fact you didn't even kill me first you broke the tame and then killed me with you your pet and madexx on me at the same time while I was already at half health.

Your post had only said you were looking to buy Red/Blue/Black originally. Again, sorry it ended up that way but good luck with the rest of your camping.

Wow, I come back to my little thread and I see this?

Raxxer. I don't believe this is an opinion, but it's fact. What you did is extremely rude and is very much frowned upon among us Petopians and any rare-hunting hunters whether or not they are on this forum. Stealing a tame is rude and selfish, PvP realm or not. I'm on an PvP realm and I wouldn't touch any hunter in the middle of a tame. In fact, I would go /congrats and then leave them be.

Kurenio. There is no need for the name-calling. Indeed what he did was wrong but there's nothing that can be done about it now. You'll just have to find Madexx again and hopefully next time someone won't be rude enough to nab him while you're in the middle of taming. Also, do what everyone else said. Check around all the spawn points more often, you're a lot more likely to get him then. And if you'd rather camp than check back on occasion like I was doing, then try not to go AFK so much if Raxxer is correct.

I don't like to see arguing on my thread. And I may not be a mod here but I think it'd be my responsibility to look after the thread.
