Sorry if these have been duplicated, but I didn't see any obvious threads at the top of the forum.

Found some beasties in Molten Front. Unfortunately none of which are tameable. Some of these are currently tameable (in the build available as of this post)

2 types of fire spider, and a fire-spider boss. (Red and Yellow varieties are tameable - the larger Nerubian style mobs are not).
Druid of the Flame in fire bird form. (Not tameable)
Black fire scorpion - which currently looks like the black version of Madexx. (Tameable)

Found another fire spider, much smaller but green. Not tameable. Untested on current build - unable to find any!
Used Eagle Vision to find this spider lair as well... lots of mobs (elite it seems). Can't test their tameability from here.

The nerubian style green spider can infect you with parasites. These come out of you after around 10 seconds - really tiny fire spiders. They are classed as beasts, but not tameable (yet). They are the same colour (in my tests) as the larger tameable versions in the area.

Ah. Those firebirds arent beasts afterall. Not real ones anyway. They're druids. I actually didn't expect that.

But yeah since they're druids, they're never gonna be tameable then.

Veph was right though. Thats indeed the black madexx model! I'm glad another madexx model is obtainable elsewhere. :3

I know that, but doesn't hurt in trying!

There are much larger Fire Hawks in the zone, but they are classed as elementals.

Nupe. The spiders may become tameable eventually I think.

I wouldn't mind having a fire spider, hope they make them tameable, especially the green ones.

The spiders and scorpions did have a diet at least

I hope they have some actual tameable rares instead of all elementals.. and two cata rares are now going to be common. I guess its good for some who have really bad luck or a life! curse you people with lives *stares at wow screen* *hugs it* its my frienddddd


how did you manage to check around in there? did you get all the dailies done? I stilll have 10 marks..


a nice looking fire spirit beast would ROCK, we dont have any fire spirit beasts.. just undead ones, and lightning ones.. and loque... lol fire devilsaur *drool* or since they like cats.. a fire sambas, or maybe change it up and make it a fire scorpion

It's possible the current scorpid skin is a place-holder - as it doesn't look very fiery.

Doesnt have to look fiery. It still matches the theme(black/red).

now that you say that.. I have to agree.. he looks way too plain against everything else that is there 0.0. the black madexx is very dull in color.. I almost consider him grey not black.. so I dont know he just doesnt seem to fit.. he may fit the "theme' but he looks so dull and out of place really.. if they made his color more darker and more vibrant it would work..

Ok seriously, there better be tamable firehawks. That model is just too sexy not to use.

hmm... they got a lotta spiders roaming around, i cant imagine they're gonna stay untameable, specially cause its not over-the-top

WTB the blue/purple ones lol, i think those ones are the better looking then the rest but thats just from the picture via MMO-Champ

...and yes they could just keep that skin/model scorp - but I was sort of hoping for something along the lines of the new fire scorpion form for Fandrel... but who knows!

I should add that I presume more areas will unlock (or otherwise become available over the course of the PTR) by doing the dailys (300 marks for 2 quests etc).

This will no doubt expose more beasties for us to drool over in the coming weeks!
Possibly including the other skins of fire spiders!

Well Fandral's is probably never gonna happen. But they might make a fiery madexx.

I'd guess the Madexx model will be replaced in the future, it looks pretty out of place there without any fire on it. Cool spiders, hope they become tameable.

I like to remain optimistic

I'm hoping for fire-cats...

i can see them giving a firey molten color like the spiders to the scorpion to replace that red color
