Does anyone else's Lone Hunter pet with the sword in his head summon out with Retribution Aura? I took mine out of the stables for the first time in a little while today and just now noticed that he has Ret Aura. None of the other pets I summoned have this and I've been soloing ever since I did the macro tame with him so it wouldn't have gotten stuck from being grouped with a pally.

I'm not sure whether to use him with this buff, or whether I should stable him and put in a ticket. If it helps any, the buff affects both of us.

its a glitch happened to my firend who had was a lock and happened to my silithid collosus
i think its a pally glitch that when you unsummon a pet it stays on them...
VERY nice for pet tanking makes me wish there was a tenacity pet with the buff

I just don't want it to be considered an exploit. =x

I only solo which is why I'm a little baffled as to why this would appear.

I forgot I had been running around with the NPC paladin who was using ret aura. I must've stabled my wolf while he was out and the buff stuck. And I know the fix for this is to kill my wolf.

It happened for me when I was questing in EPL. The Pally's ret aura will stick with you until you die, and will spread to party members and pets xD Either it sticks to you or a pet, for me it stuck to my hunter.

Yeah, I started talking about it to my boyfriend and then realized what had happened. XD The pally dude from EPL is probably what did it.

Sure enough, after killing Fin (sorry bud), the buff went away.

Not that this thread needed to be bumped, but yes, there is a dev who lurks these forums that we refer to as "Noah." He's been a huge help in getting us a lot of the new shiny pets that we've wanted.
