Adventures in Gordok Commons

So my hunter, Broohahah, was in a group doing Dire Maul, Gordok Commons, and in the hallway just before facing Gordok himself, we all fought Captain Kromcrush. You know how pick-up groups are; there's a quest that will let you sneak by Kromcrush to get straight to Gordok (you all disguise yourself as ogres), but this being a pick-up group, we just charge straight in and start swinging.
The warrior over-pulled, and was getting low on health with ogres swarming all over him. The mage didn't wait for aggro to build, so he pulled an ogre herd onto himself. The priest tried to save him, leaving her no mana for the warrior, who went down. The priest followed shortly after. The warlock had been doing good work, but they all went for him next, and he paniced and started running back and forth.
By the time the dust cleared, there were still four ogres, on of them Kromcrush, and me, and BigDog, my wolf. (He's a Feral Crag Coyote). The ogres were all hurt, down around half to one-third health. I hadn't kept up pet mend, because who does for an instance? Maybe I will in the future. The "extra" ogres came after me first, while BigDog was loyally whaling away on Kromcrush. While getting beat on I put a Pet Mend on him and Feigned Death fast. All ogres on BigDog. His health was around 25%. I had to make a decision...stand up and help him, or keep feigning?
Dang if Pet Mend isn't the strongest heal in the game. With the Pet Mend Glyph, and specced in Pet Mend, that little thing heals a lot. With four ogres beating on him, his health is dropping, but slowly. I stand up, but a Serpent Sting on Kromcrush, and start unloading everything I have on the weakest ogre. He goes down. I Fervor, Refresh Pet Mend, start on the next weakest. He goes down.
It's over at that point, I know. BigDog's health is climbing, there's only one ogre and Kromcrush left. And then there was just Kromcrush. And then there was just me and BigDog.
Everyone else in the party is coming back in through the instance entrance, but everything's respawned. I give them a report, and say: are you game for finishing, or should me and BigDog just solo Gordok?
How many classes could say that?
I love Broohaha. I love BigDog.
