this wolf is still tameable as far as this patch.im not sure about 4.2 but in 4.1 it is still tameable.Here is a guide to get.

step1: go to www.wowhead.com and look up "ghostpaw runner"
step 2 go to its location
step 3 make the pet abandon macro
the pet abandon macro is /script PetAbandon()
step 4 make sure you have an empty slot
step 5 find a ghostpaw runner
step 6 call and dismiss your pet many times
step 7 if u are a high lvl put all your gear in your bags
step 8 damge the wolf until he goes into "ghostwolf form"
step 9 start tame
step 10 when taming is at 3 seconds spam macro
step 11 log off and see if u have your new wolf or keep trying READ NOTES ABOUT THIS PET BELOW

NOTES: do not pvp with this pet or ghost form will disapear
dont do arena either
and never let him die or ghost form will disapear

GL AND BE HAPPY WITH YOUR NEW WOLF

Yeah thanks for the update, there might be other posts about it, but they are from a while ago and take some digging to find.

Yea there is really no point to getting this pet since you cant use it and there are so many ways to lose it

If you want a ghost Wolf simply go BM and tame Koroma that simple

whether you or it dies .... it loses the buff.... good luck with that
