Hello and welcome to my signature thread

If you saw someone in this forum with a cool animated signature, where his toon and pet were displayed, there is a chance that I was the one who made it.
Now you want one too? No problem...

What I need you to do is this:

• post an armory link to your character
• post a petopia link to your pet(s)
• tell me as accurate as possible what you want
• have some patience

I noticed your conversation in the other thread. I'm not here to request one of my own, but I was curious if you'd be willing to share the steps of how you put 2 animated models in the same picture? I could probably manage it myself if I had some tips. ^^

Okay, great idea.

So, what sort of Information do you need? I can only link my armory, and show you an image of my pet for now, seeing as WoW is blocked here at college, and I don't go home till saturday.

Unless you just want to pick some random gear for her, in which case I have a couple of screenshots of her face.

The trick is to have a pic-editing software that can:

• handle animated GIFs
• work with layers

Now you use Modelviewer to create the animated GIFs you want to have put together.

The single stages of the animation will be shown as layers. Simply copy the layers from one GIF to the other, arrange them, resize them and.... BINGO you have them put together. Any more questions? Don't be shy...

I really hope you do understand what I'm talking about because english is not my native language.

What I need you to do is to right-click them, save them to your computer and then host them somewhere else. I'll need my webspace some day and then they'll be gone and you'll be sad and call me names here in the forums...

Well, honestly, I don't have screenshots. This is, what I'll do: I will make some front/back/side pics with ModelViewer and post them here. Then you can do to them whatever you like.
I'll post my tauren warrior Regash, my blod elf hunter Karathyriel and his pet, Gerethay.
But I'll do that later, since over here it's almost 2:30 am and I have to get up in 4 hrs... *yawn*
I'll regret this tomorrow on the office...

Thanks for the great references! I'm working on ideas for your sketch as we speak. I'm afraid a sketch is all I can do ight now, because pf exams, but later on I'll outline it in photoshop and possibly colour it as well.

Hahah, I will indeed ignore the eyes.

Would you mind me making Gerethay's eyes green like Karathyriel's? I like to give my characters and their pets matching eyes, but if you want I can colour them the way they really are.

Oh, great idea! Could you make me just a purple warpstalker running? I love their little waddle.

Death Knight eyes is a known bug, and luckily easy to fix!

View > Show Model Control > Scroll furthest down > Uncheck the Eyeglows

If you make something with glowing eyes of another colour than dk blue, like belves or nelves, then there's two "Eyeglows" one is the right one.

Ingame, Gerethays eyes are green. I didn't notice them to be different in the pic.

I'll do that, but not today. And, like I said to Nikkrosnil, you'll have to host it on your own webspace.
But I just noticed, there is no purple warpstalker. Wich one do you mean?

Well I seem to have no luck finding a program that will let me do the 2 layers of models. xD

I know I said that I wasn't going to come here for a request, but do you think it would be possible for me to get an image of my hunter and her pet together? I know you've got a couple others you're working on, so there's absolutely no rush. I can get back to you with details of my character and everything after, I just thought I'd check in first and see if you'd be willing to make another one.

What I need is a close-up screenshot of your characters head and an armoury link. And of course, I need to know, wich pet you are using.
Alternatively, you could just list the equipment you want to see on your character if you don't want to use your actual equipment.

Tell me if you want helm and/or cloak to be shown.
Also, all possible animation from the game would be available. There is no need to always have the "run side.by-side" gimmick.

Then have some patience...

Maybe you should look for Paint Shop Pro. It seems to be available in some older version for free and it comes with Animationshop.
