Lol love the title 'Littlest Pet Shop' and ima guess we're getting a living squirrel rather then a robotic one now

Ok this guy is funny, a living squirrel for 150 mini pet achievement. Was 100 but 150 now. 100 and 125 gives one pet biscuit. But the squirrel... omg, he throws acorns at you, npc's or other people giving them a stunned animation. He also has one hell of a pitching arm!

Yea I do not see more than my druid getting this guy... it is doable, but rough for sure.

In short, Foamy is a pet squirrel that hates the fact that humans destroy his trees and are hard to deal with. He has friends as well that are hilarious. Some of the stuff can be said to be "controversial" but it all depends on your view. It is just the author's point of view in a funny way on things. I also like the Squirrel Songs episodes and the Christmas episodes. Just keep the bagels and cream cheese hidden so Foamy doesn't eat it.

Though I can say I am a bit disapointed that the next pet in the achive chain isnt a grey rabbit.

What if you already have that many companions when this patch goes live?
Will you still get the achiev, or are you screwed? :[

I love Foamy, been hooked on him for 5 years though sadly all knowledge of him seemed to pop outta my head soon after i discovered him but everythime someone mentions him im like 'oh hey, i know foamy!' xD WTB grey and black squirrels in-game, red ones arent the only colors blizz! (not even going to get into the little infected ones rofl, they're.. they're just there. )

Unless they change something (which I doubt they would), yes—you'll earn it the first time you log on after the patch goes live. You (probably) won't get the popup message and the particle effect around your body because you'll still be logging in at the time, but your guild will see the notification.

Example: I had 152 companion pets when 4.1 came out. The first time I logged in after the patch, I earned Petting Zoo (100) and Menagerie (125). I never saw the achievement pop up, but when my guildmate (who is the only person on the server with more pets than me because she can afford to buy the TCG and petstore pets) logged on, I saw her achievements pop up. We both had both achievements on our "Recent Activity" and properly displayed on our achievement windows.

The only types of achievements that you don't get retroactive credit for are ones where you don't have some sort of physical "proof" you did it—for example, the "Just Another Day in Tol Barad" achievement to complete each TB daily at least once required you to do it post-patch, even if you'd done them before the patch (and that was a PITA, stupid undead sailor daily never popped grumble mumble). Some of the old dungeon/raid achievements also didn't give retroactive credit, even if you had loot in your bags/banks from the last boss, but I can't think of a recently added achievement where that was the case; that was just a relic from a pre-achievement system to a post-achievement system.
