Holy. Fel.

I did Sethekk Halls earlier before the reset, because I didn't do it yesterday. Later today, I log in because I'm feeling disappointed. Was looking forward to getting together with a friend, only to have the rain prevent that because it is pouring.
So I decide to go do my Halls run, and muse, "Wouldn't it be funny if Anzu dropped?" Run through, feel like killing Dark whatever Syth. Keeping going, and simplify my ritual of talking to him to, "/beg. /plead."
Go in. He's hurting a bit more than usual, but nothing too untolerable. Loot and WHAT THE HELL WHY IS THERE A PURPLE BIRD. FRAK YES. Turns out Anzu gave up on being beaten and felt bad for me.

So now the two mounts I will ever only use: Kozridormu the Bronze Drake and Chaos the Raven Lord. Ironically, Raven Lord and Bronze Drake are the two mounts provided when you make a pre made on Beta, who I had a NE hunter named Azunara on.
So yeah. I am extremely pleased. x3

Congrats on getting the Talon of Anzu!

Thats what you were referring to? I didn't understand the pic of you on a mount in SW, didn't relate to Sethekk at all...

Definitely. I'm in a mixture of quest and some rep gear, and my health, at the lowest, got to 80% because I was in cat form.
Edit: And silly Royi. Of course I meant the talon!

This was soloable at 80, and at 85 it's faceroll easy. The only irritation is that Anzu banishes himself periodically and this ties in almost directly with my Lock n' Load procs(or seems to anyway), and there's some minor rep grinding you might have to do if you aren't...honored(?) with Lower City.
Gratz Azu on your birdie. :)

Yeah its Lower City.
I think the question was directed at the level of rep you need, not the faction.

Yea you grind to honored with Lower City and then buy the key that allows you to unlock heroic mode from their quartermaster (he's a Broken (second level of degeneration for the draenei race)), if you plan on soloing heroic sethekk halls then you know you'll definitely be able to solo the dunegons on reg. mode to farm the reputation if you arent honored (i find it faster then doing the quests).
Ive noticed, my final encounter when he dropped the reigns, a previous poster squeeing about getting the reigns, and now you Azun when you got the reigns, he's hit harder and survived longer. I didnt mention it in my thread but he managed to pull off summoning his birds 3 times, opposed to the regular 2 (if hes lucky to get 2 in) summons. His birds also brought my health down enough where i had to disengage to ensure i could survive another bird attack (this was wave 2 of the birds).
He also brought my pet down to 80% (in the 4 runs it took, i never needed to heal my pet since it never got to a % i needed to worry about). It was very odd and when i saw the other posters thread and now this one, i dont think its coincidence anymore. I aint gonna jump towards what im thinking but i am gonna mention that i think it may be some form of indication since others have farmed countlessly and know the easiest way to burn him down quickly and then found on the final run needed that he put up more of a fight then usual.
^(=^-^=)> Go Azun! Grats on your new mount Chaos

I give thumbs up to that name, it fits the Arakkoa nature very well imo. Magic and trickery shrouds the chaos that lies at the heart of their intention to usher in a world of darkness in Terokks name. (-shrug- lol thats kinda how i see the arakkoa :lol)

I'm not sure if we can call it a conspiracy, since he only got two birds in and they went down fast, but he definitely got me lower than usual these two runs, to the point where I popped Lifeblood, just because I was below 90, thereby doing it wrong.
But seriously, I adore my Chaos. He's so amazing and pretty. x3

Another friend got the Raven Lord? Come ON, Anzu! (Not Azu) Drop for me now!
On a less selfish note, grats, Azu!

Azu that is exactly how I got Baron Rivendare's mount. I went into Stratholme on a whim for whatever reason. I go to kill Rivendare not even thinking about the mount and BOOM! there it is. I was like OMG! I know people who have been farming that place regularly for that mount since WoW came out and hadn't seen it drop once XD
*high fives Azu*

Uh, speaking of Baron horse...
STORY TIME!
It was August 29. Not only was it an awesome day, but it was my birthday*. I wanted to get Ambassador title, and where better to get it then farm Runecloth in Stratholme? I personally hated the Baron horse, it was ugly as hell to me. So I'm going down, and casually say to my guild, "I really, really hope that horse doesn't drop." After farming, I was all, "What the hell, it won't drop." I'm killing Baron on Azu, and then. Suddenly.
"NOOOOOOOO. DAMN YOU BARON. WHHHHHHY." Sitting there, gloating, is that frikking horse. Fourth Baron run ever, and that damn horse dropped. On my birthday. I joke these days WoW was giving me a present. And for those curious, I love the horse now. He's grown on me.
*Also, last year, the day before my birthday I found 80 dollars on the street. I don't know what is up with the universe, but it likes me.

Can I have some of your luck Azu? I'd love to find 80 bucks on the street.
There is someone in my guild who has incredible luck with mounts. If a mount drops and he is in the group, he is going to win it hands down. He ALWAYS rolls in the 90s when a mount drops and ALWAYS WINS THE DAMN ROLLS. It's just not fair.

I honestly thought the money was a trap. My first thought, honest to goodness was, "IT'S A TRAP. IT'S COVERED IN DRUGS." My brother was all, "Lol, Azu. You so silly."
And man, I wish I was that lucky. I think my first guild run of UP, drake drops, my dad wins it. ><;

HA!
I just did my first heroic run through (dual boxing).
It was a blast.
And I get loads of rep with Lower City too, which is an added bonus.
Some day, that mount will also be mine.
