If hydras do become tamable, which one will be your favorite?

I love the color orange, and unfortunately my favorite model is the only unused one. xD


If that one doesn't show up any time soon, I could be happy with its Outlands equivalent:

I'd name it... Igor, probably.

I think I'd go for an Azerothian one... either the purple (it looks like velvet, like a giant stuffed toy!) or the pure white one.

I'd have to say the purple or grey one. The purple one is such a pretty shade of colour, but the grey one looks really nice with its silvery scales and the bright splash of orange on the frills.

Agreed. The grey one is definitely my favourite, and well.. Purple IS my favourite colour. The black ones are also pretty nice looking. Though, to be perfectly honest.. I might not even get one. I have the Ghost Hydra from waaay back on my main, so she doesn't exactly need one. Though I may end up having my current Hydra just get a new look.. I think Banryu would look gorgeous as a grey Hydra. But hey, we'll have to see XD

Oh wow, I just looked it over once more and remembered that I totally can't make up my mind! It'd definitely be a regular one, the Outlands ones look too toothy for my taste. Blue, green, grey or purple. Probably grey. Or wait, purple. Blue's nice though... *sigh* I'll take one of each?

No question about it, I've been in love with the Black Hydras on Alcaz Island since the first time I stumbled into the place.



I have my name picked out for him and everything. Hopefully some day in the near future he'll be mine for real.

I'm not a fan of the Outland models myself. I like all of the Azeroth ones though to be honest, Hydras in general have been a favourite creature since my first glimpse at the blue ones in the Zoram Strand. The silver ones are unique in that they're the only models to have pupils, if anyone hadn't noticed. The white ones are stunning to see in Maraudon. The green are very tempting to see in ZG as well. And the red is very unique with the striping pattern. I think I'd be a lot more attached to the purple if it had a different belly colour.

I love them all, but the black is definitely my overall favourite. ^^

aahhh this is the question i dread. im with Veph 100% I fell in love with the black hydra and have held out the hope that i could tame one with every new patch. I would probably name him Sith.

but i like the purple one..

would probably tame a white/green one on my alts too >.>

However.. the black outland one would be kinda fun, he reminds me of Darth Vader. but im not a fan of the outland hydras...

If (or once) Hydras become tamable I have already decided to tame both and .
The red hydra would fit in nicely with my Troll's stable while the violet hydra would be for my Blood Elf.

I've fallen in love with but am unsure as to whether I will be taming one for any of my hunters since it doesn't adhere to any of their personalities (RP-wise) or ongoing color themes.

I'd also like to someday get for my Forsaken Huntress but that wouldn't happen until the level cap is raised with the next expansion.

I'm not playing at the moment, and I don't know when/if I'll resubscribe, but this is my favorite, as well as the one that goes best with Aldera's style.

Although I like a lot of the colorations of the outland models more, they're just a bit to "alien" looking for my preference. As for a name, I'd have to consult the FF7 beastuary to find a fitting name.

Red normal or Purple Outland. If neither are allowed, then ANGRY LETTER.

Wain's description of the purple one almost makes me want one of those instead!
