WoW Petopia Community

It's come to my attention that there is a new fake Petopian forum website, it can be located at http://www.wow-petopia.proboards.com, I found it while Google-ing.
Thank you, let's deal with this while we can.

Moderation note: The forums at wow-petopia.proboards.com are not associated in any way with Petopia (wow-petopia.com) or these forums (forums.wow-petopia.com).

It looks like they are copying the boards' names directly from the Petopian forums, and it is starting to look more like the real website. I suggest making an account and talking to the person, moderators who may see this. If not, I may do it myself.

Copied some of the rules to a T as well.

He/she is now seeming to copy threads off of Petopia, including some of the forum rules, and Jessibelle's thread about the new cross-faction dungeon feature.

Well..yes and no. I mean, It's information that's up on MMO Champs site already.

Don't call it a scam unless there is an actual scam involved. It's curious, but not a threat. Not yet, if you will.

This must be a very disrespectful person to be copying every board, and some posts off of Petopia without even... er.. giving credit!!! I hope she doesn't delete your post or anything Spirit, but I guess that doesn't matter so much because at least she will have seen it.

I'm sure it's someone who reads these forums and is just trying to stir things up. Very poor taste.

I'd be careful clicking the links around/to there just in case it's a purpose fake to try and give keyloggers or something.

My man yelled at me for it soon as I showed it to him and I went "D'oh!" and figured I would pass it along here. XD

I don't think it would have any... whatnots when you click the link (bah viruses or whatever?) because I've actually used ProBoards to make a forum before, it's really easy and safe. I'm assuming some stupid person was bored and decided to play a joke. Sigh ._.
