End of an Era

As some of you may know, I used to obsess over my black lion, Shadowflame. A long time ago back during the times of Burning Crusade, I rolled my Blood Elf Hunter, Lunania, as my new main toon. There was a black lion in the game I had set my sights on. Humar the Pidelord. He was the only black lion in the game and very rare. I camped day and night until I finally got him. I named him Shadowflame... For some reason. >> << He played with me through all of BC, Wrath and the first part of Cataclysm. However, the more I looked at him, the more I started to dislike the old lion model in favor of the newer one. I had hoped maybe Blizzard would release a variation of Sambas' model, but that doesn't look like it'll happen. Soon anyways. I had made the decision to officially retire him. It made sense in RP, since he was getting old and had received a rather bad injury while running a mission. Luna (ICly) had decided to keep him in her stable for now, were he'll be pampered next to his mate, Uzuri. Although Luna was disappointed that there were no black cubs in his litter... and my chosen replacement's brother sadly didn't survive after getting sick. =(
So who replaces him? (For now anyways)
Meet, Kiev. Shadowflame's only current offspring. Yes, it's Sambas, but I'll make him just as epic as his father. After all, Shadowflame isn't gone forever... He's just getting fat in my stable now. D:
...Now watch Blizzard release a black version of Sambas in the future. >_>
