Stupid roll system....

We 11-manned OS 3d 25. Me and this other hunter needed. We both got 85. It gave it to him! >/ Dude, you should have to reroll(the two that tied) if that happens. GRRRR!

Yeah, that drives me nuts too.
I've lost boe epics and at least one mount to it.

I have always hated that. It's just so irritating because it really seems sometimes like you're always on the losing end of a tie roll. I've lost like five or six mount rolls that way and I don't even know how it decides who gets the item when ties happen.

If rolls tie then a second, hidden roll is done behind to select one over the others.

I was told it was just done alphabetically. I was on Jessibelle. The dude's name started with a H.

Everything I've read, it's always been that it does a second hidden roll if there's a tie.

It would be nice if the loot roll included a comment for ties, e.g.
Jessibelle rolled need - 85 (tiebreaker roll 51)
Huntard rolled need - 85 (tiebreaker roll 74)
Other person rolled need - 34
Etc.
That way everything's 100% out in the open.

Hmm on a different note, you needed 11 for 25 man? We got 10 man down with three, although it was pretty scary there at the end. (DK tank/dps, feral druid, rogue)
