How I got him like that.
As per usual I prefer serious and mythical names, possibly references or anything that compliments how he looks.

He is pretty stompalicious to be named after wind. Actually I think that would make me want to name him that on principle. Like a cute chubby kid named tiny

I just can't help but be in awe of his picture every time I see him. My suggestions:
Icy names:
Aura
Avalanche
Blizzard
Frost
Solstice
Tundra
Mythological names:
Alcyone - A Greek goddess who rests for two weeks every winter, causing the seas to become peaceful
Anemoi - A name for Grecian wind gods
Baldur - Norse god who is associated with mistletoe
Demeter - Greek goddess whose grief for her kidnapped daughter caused winter to occur
Frigga - Norse goddess also associated with mistletoe
Mithras - Roman god who was born around the winter solstice
Odin - Norse god who played a role like Santa Claus
Skadi - Norse goddess of winter and hunting

Hehe - and the North Wind is one of the fiercest of them all, which was why it came to mind. Plus, Northrend is....well....north.
