My guess is that he will be from the up and coming blizcon. As I was discussing with a mate, they normally have a murloc themed in game present attached to the tickets and in recent years they PAY T.V. also.
With our guess there will be a decent amount of info on D3 as it's their only game currently in development (that they are admitting to) and due soon...ish.
So a Diablo themed Murloc kinda fits the bill on that front
...But yeah, possibly attached to a collector edition of D3, but normally those pets are less murloc themed and more directly themed like the mini Thor form SC2

I'm also thinking this will be the Blizzcon/Livestream reward. Eee it's SO adorable, I love those little buck-fangs.

The funny thing is, Spiritbinder and I jokingly predicted this as the Blizzcon pet a few days before it was announced, based on the fact that it's always a murloc-theme and usually related to whatever their big announcement is for the year. Of course it may not be the Blizzcon pet, but it's funny a horned murloc appears just days after we were talking about it

Lol he is soo adorable. I saw the pic last night and am pretty positive he will be the Blizzcon pet, like Deathy last year. I hope he is and I also hope he doesn't have a sound that is super annoying like Deathy's fire burp. It makes me so sad that I can't use Deathy because his sounds drive me so insane >_<

Like Deathy last year and Grunty the year before...I'm almost positive that this is the BLizzcon pet. XD
My birthday present from the boyfriend is the Blizzcon feed the past 2 years so hopefully I am right and this guy will be mine soon

It...doesn't really look like Diablo tho...course, I'm thinking D2 Diablo but still...kinda just a random demon murloc. I might get it...I don't have an murloc pets.
