here's to guess what the other seven rares will be like.

We'll likely see one of the currently unused fire spider skins methinks and maybe a form of a stag as a rare SB. *not Malorne's skin but i got this feeling we'll have a stag...or moose..*
Well that dev did promise them to us and 8 new rares is for them the perfect excuse i think

I am thinking maybe the blue spider, maybe a new corehound, maybe a stag, and I am thinking that elemtental rare skeleton dog we saw before may be a beast now. Haha I have 4 open stables slot as of right now *looks at stables* and I can make some more room if necessary, but we will see with what the others are.

I'm going to wager that we're going to see equivalents of all the ancients who came back in Hyjal - so that'd be bird, wolf, turtle, and stag. The others are wildcards, like the cat, and the name of the final one sounds like a spider. EDIT: So my theory is that half will be ancient equivalents and the other half will be nifty fire-creatures of Ragnaros's type.

Sadly, they will probably all be spirit beasts. :/

She(he?) looks pretty cool, though that pic i saw is with him not glowing with aura... i dont particularly like gondria's aura glow, it kinda ruins it a bit ._.

I forgot that with the discovery of the cat, my theory of a 4-4 split like that is already wrong anyway.

Owl looks pretty badass. Totally swapping Olm for it.
Monochrome Gondria looks stupid. It was already a simple recolor of another tiger, but a recolor of a recolor? That's pretty lame.

My -hopes- are as follows;
1. A gorilla made of brimstone and fire, much like the boss "Fyrus" from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Hands and feet on fire with a flaming face, fur replaced for rock and crag with cracks showing inner molten flames.
2. A Helboar that has flames coming out of where the back spikes would be, and has an obsidian look to it.
3. An updated version of the Springpaw Lynx that is as detailed as the new Night Elf druid forms, but has more detailed fur. MUST be red, not that lame brown or some silly color.
4. An outland variant Ravager with deep red skin and a yellowish underbelly that is crackling with golden electricity, similar to Skoll, and has spikes around its face and four arms on its side that end in spikes like the legs. It must be named "Shiri'kul".
5. A Spore Bat that's white and glowing, and it leaves a trail of growing plants as it flies. Also has the same glow colors as the regular spore bats. Very simple.
6. Onyxia-colored Raptor, sporting similar horns and frills. I've always wanted one like this, and I'd abandon every single pet I have, rares and Chromaggus included, just for this bad boy.

What we're probably going to get;
1. Old world Worg, spectral. Yellow Skoll Recolor.
2. Old world bat, spectral. Green.
3. Old world tarantula, spectral. Red.
4. Mastiff, spectral. Blue.
5. Green Loque recolor. (Glow green, and spots green. Skin still white)
6. Ghostcrawler recolor. Green eyes.

I am thinking that fire scorpion will pop up to somewhere. Probably where all the scorpions all

While I really dobout we will get a flying shark, there are other things I hope and wish we could get:

- The sapphire gem-like owl, not necesarily a spirit beast, just a regular owl.
- A Flaming Ravager. It must also drip lava ala Terrorpene/Nemesis.
- A Phoenix. Bite me, they could make a nice spirit beast.
- A new Dragonhawk. With Fire for wings... Could be just a firehawk with a dragonhawk model, dont really care.
- The blue hell hound.
- Maybe a skoll-like simillar beastie but instead being a spirit beast being a wolf? BM is not good for raiding lately as much as it pains me D:

I'd like to see them reuse the Ooze/Hydra spirits for something, since the grandfathering + now untames usually causes grumpy folk. For example, you can now get the Spirit Wolves that had about the same situation so long ago, just in different mobs. I just think a Spirit Beast that is a monstrous ooze would be awesome, like a clump of spirits or whatnot. /shrug

I'm mostly hoping for some of the eight to be weird, and at least one of them to be a Clefthoof, however illogical.

Desperately hoping a few of these are available to non BM hunters I've been hoping for a wolf as beautifully detailed as Sambas, or a Sambas that was all white like Echeyakee maybe. Or a red Sambas! Something beautiful, a new skin, not just a rehash of an old skin like this new Spirit Beast cat (which is a huge disappointment for me, it's just Gondria without all the purple).

I dont think the owl was ever confirmed. That was just a hunch(I could be wrong but I've seen nothing confirming it).

Ah. I was just about to correct myself. I had to go digging for it cause I missed it.

I love them both so far! Man it's gonna be madness taming these guys. I'm glad BM hunters are getting some love again. Last patch was all about nonBM hunters(all the new skins weren't exotic) so seems this one is more for BM hunters. I hope there might be a Hydra Spirit beast!

So...here's the list so far...

1. Ban'thalos(Owl Spirit Beast)
2. Ahnka(Cat Spirit Beast)

okay... wait some one tell me why the heck they'll add completely new skinned pets in with VERY unque mechanics... but they wont freakin add hydras? loaded all skins are here and ready to be tamed =(


.... wait a minute the two added as of now are both unused skins.... the articus, skoll, and some other pets have unused skins as well maybe they are just adding them in?

There's still plenty of time before 4.2 goes live, and I'm sure there will be more PTR builds. Perhaps hydras will be added just before it's released?

I don't speak very often (hardcore lurker), but I'd like to tell you which skin I think is going to show up.

It already has the right colour scheme, and lore wise, Chimaeras are creatures that can be found around Hyjal. In fact, wowpedia states they protect the world tree itself. So what if one found it's way into Firelands, and was twisted into a fiery version?(yes, I'm thinking flame effects )
Or maybe it actually lives there on its own. Who knows?
