Oh wow. I'd definitely go along with this idea!

The only problem I'd see is that's also more of a WotLK class, but still, with perhaps some extra lore for Cata would make this even better.
Whaddya think?

Not a bad idea at all. It MIGHT work since the next expansion is supposed to involve the Emerald Dream (whether or not it will in its entirety? Not sure...) so you're going to need a class that'd embody it since we're due for another hero class (if they're going to do the "race > hero class > race > etc." model). This would be pretty plausible considering that the only hero class I can think of that'd work for such an idea is Keeper of the Grove or Warden. And, frankly, I don't see either of those working very well.

Nonetheless, I like your idea very much! *stamp of approval*

Thanks but its not my idea just sharing since people normally don't read the general forum due to all the crap posts

Although A few years ago I did have an idea for a class kind of like this along with a wave master class

That guy has some kind of amazing imagination, i really like his idea, and it really works cause i suspect Ysera will be going down next (the source of the nightmare lurks deep in the dream where Malfurion could not reach when he defeated Xavious, currently to my knowledge the dream is unprotected and if the source tried again, it could probably start taking back the dream while Ysera is battling in hyjal). Next will be Nozdormu meeting his fate and his son Anachronos taking the new position, and Alexstraza... i dont know what might happen to her, she has no potential lore of corruption tied to her, just the lore where she was a slave to the dragonmaw clan.

I very much like this idea! I feel some of the spells and such would need tweaking if it were to be a viable class selection but overall the concept seems like a perfect fit for Cataclysm and/or Emerald Dream (if implemented as the next expansion). Maybe change the name of the class to Dragon Sage or something. Dragonsworm sounds to much like a creature or beast you'd likely come across in the game.

I agree also. I'm rather put off by the fact that Death Knight's remain the ONLY heroic class in the game thus far. It's high time for a change imo.

Based on the description of this class (something of a druid + mage hybrid), I too wouldn't mind giving it a try.

This.

To anyone who may or may not browse the RP forum, I RP a bronze dragon that's in human disguise. Being able to actually, logically RP him in game? Hell yes! (Before any other RPs lose it, I did ask every other RPer about Koz when initially started with him, and I've never got a complaint about him being OP.)

I think this sounds like a really good idea, especially since it would be the first "hero" class that could heal. I like how the three talent trees are based on the three "good" dragonflights as well -- though perhaps there could be a couple spells based on the blues and/or blacks to even things out?

The concept reminds me a little of the Dragoons from Legend of Dragoon or the Final Fantasy series, but this was described in a uniquely WoW way. Plus, I love dragons. If this class, or something like it, gets implemented I'd definately make an alt as one! Heck, I'd probably just replace my DK.
