So yeah, with 8 new rares and challenging tames being added, which one are you going to go after first?

Now I don't only mean 'which one will you tame and keep forever'. I'm also curious about those of you who are purely going to tame these just for the challenges they present. So which one will you go after?

Personally, I'm not a huge superfan of any of the new rares, but I will be testing my tame-challenges against Ban'thalos first since I personally can see myself using a Spirit Beast owl. If not, then definitely Deth'tilac, even though I hate spiders XD But those two definitely seem to have an interesting tame mechanic that I wanna go against.

So who are you guys gonna go after?

-Rant about the definitions of Blizzard's use of "Rare" and "new".
-Rant about how Blizzard is lazy.

I am more than happy to hear people say they're disappointed for one reason or another, but there are other threads where you can do that with other people. This is just mostly about being excited about tame challenges, or what people are preparing to do in order to be ready for the new rares.

(also if there is another thread like this, I apologize, though I don't think there is)

I really want Magria, but I think I'll be waiting a while for the hype to die down, and hopefully the traffic to the Firelands too. I'm slightly worried about trying to tame her - I'm on a PvP server, so. I can just imagine someone coming up and pot-shotting me in the middle of the tame, lol.

Ahnka is who I want first.

2nd: Magria
3rd: Ban'thalos
4th: Deth'tilac

Mind you, if I wasn't already overrun with spiders, I'd likely go after more than just him on live. Each of the spider colors has its own appeal.

Quick edit to note that Kirix is a GREEN spider who hangs out with Dante, so it's like they were there waiting for me.

Deth'tilac is certainly The One for me. I can't imagine a more fitting pet...black and purple spider, with a death metal theme. I'm all over it.

I think im going to camp first for the three spirit beasts in the regrowth, doesn't matters which one appears first since im going to try to get all of them.

I don't really use spiders (and I'm terrible at pvp) but Deth'tilac would probably be the only one I'd consider camping,

Come to me beautiful, perfect, delightful spirit beast owl. I love all your kind, spirit or no. MUST have.
But really, it was a hard choice between Deth and Banny.

I would like to have Solix. I haven't yet found a spider that clicks with me, and orange is my favorite color, so I have the feeling that Solix will finally be the spider that keeps a permanent spot in my stable.

Oooh, I'd have to say a tie between Deth and Ban. But I'll save my sanity this time around and wait for the competition to die down first before attempting. Even after Cata was released, I was one of five hunters in Sholazar looking for Loque. So, when it comes to these guys, maybe....two expansions from now? XD

Poor Anthriss. The yellow really is stunning in person, so hopefully someone will want the banana spider the most.
