A friend and I were discussing this idea over Skype recently - what if there were big, long and involved quest chains for each class, each culminating in some sort of penultimate battle in which they earn an achievement giving them a title specific to their class and maybe another reward of some sort?

Doesn't have to work that way exactly, but what do you guys think? I think it'd be an interesting idea, but I'd love to hear what other people think.

I'll add in a list of potential ideas for titles if people want to contribute, as well as the ones my friend and I thought up.
Potential Titles:
Shaman - "Earthcaller <name>", "Elementalist <name>"
Druid - "Archdruid <name>", "Shan'do <name>" (Night Elf-Exclusive)
Paladin - "Sunwalker <name>" (Tauren-exclusive), "<name> of the Light"
Warlock - "Necromancer <name>"
Rogue -
Hunter - "<name>, Champion of the Hunt", "Beastcaller <name>", "Beast Master <name>", "<name> the Rare Hunter", "Sniper <name>", "Ranger <name>"
Mage - "Archmage <name>" "Magister <name>" "Arcanist <name>"
Priest - "High Priest <name>", "High Priestess <name>"
Death Knight - "<name> of the Unliving"
Warrior - "Blademaster <name>"

Druid should also have "Shan'do" and Hunters should have "Beast Master"

I'd like the rare hunter title... sniper title.... bow master title...

Remember to add 'Priestess' for the priest one (ppl are very nit picky about that ive found). Hmm, paladin.. well, for tauren id like to see 'Sunwalker' but paladins in general, perhaps something simple like '<name> of the Light'? i wish i had a better imagination right now lol

mmmm id like to see Ranger for those of us who dont use beast mastery a whole lot, or for those players who dont like the specc

Ah, I never saw that. But that's from way back in August of last year, and I wasn't even here in August xD Still, it's a nice idea to bring up again, considering all of the changes Blizz is making/considering making.

Shan'do is good, but it would probably have to be Night Elf-exclusive since Shan'do is Darnassian for "Honored teacher".
