Hey Wain/Noah, how about some hunter Feats of Strength?..

So we know we can't have hunter only achievements, as that would not be fair towards non-hunters in the great achievement point race, but how about hunter-only feats of strength? Possible? So here's some ideas... (everyone else, please chime in with your own hunter feats of strength...)
1) Sholo-Trio: Tame the 3 Sholozar rares
2) Maggnificent: Tame Chromaggus
3) Burning Feeling: Tame all 5 Firelands spiders
Let's think of some more!

Only problem with this is it would FORCE people to tame these guys....and that's not fair.

Gotta Catch em All: Tame x amount of rarespawn beasts across Azeroth and Outland.
Walking Zoo: Tame 1 of each pet family.

Feats of Strength are anything but required...

I still think
Vampire Hunter should come with a title.

I'm not sure I'm in favor of these things on principle, but I do like the idea of bad puns for the names.
Jack of All Trades or Buff Bot: Tame one pet of every buff type.
Nerfed to the Ground!: Tame Ghostcrawler.
Limited Edition: Have tamed at least one pet that is no longer in the game.
MINE: Tame a seagull.
Like a Boss: Tame one of the following raid bosses: <Chromie, Beastie, all the AQ bosses, etc.>
Wolf Pack: Tame all of the rare worgs in Azeroth.
On the Prowl: Tame all of the rare cat spawns in Azeroth.
Care Bear Stare: Tame all of the rare bear spawns in Azeroth.
Foster Parent: Tame any of the following parent animals: <Mazzy, Clutchy, Ol' Sooty, etc.>
I can go on....>_>;

It still forces them if they want achievement points and have to tame stuff they don't want.

Feats of Strength don't give points; they're just there for bragging rights. They don't do anything.

Still....people like achievements.....hence it will force them, whether it gives points or not. "Yeah, I got these. I took em even though I just released them later cause I didn't care for them, despite someone else could've used it more."

That's one of the reasons I personally wouldn't be into the idea. I don't like the idea of pets getting tamed as trophies, then released. These hypothetical feats of strength COULD possibly be removed if any of the qualifying pets are abandoned...

Yeah. I could go with that if the achievement is removed if you abandon them.

I wouldn't mind some FoS to do with pets, however I'll never be able to see them as something that's needed. To me, the pet is the FoS.
However, since the Grey Riding Camel got it's own FoS and TLPD/Aeonaxx/Poseidus did not, I'm still waiting for FoS for them too. Yet again, I feel that the real prize is the mount, but if the camel can have one, why can't the others? And maybe titles too. I would adore an Aeonaxx title... Kuraine, Slayer of Aeonaxx.

The very nature of the thier taming is a Feat of Strength, just without the achi. The effort and time Blizzard is giving hunters is wonderful. Thank you guys:)

tame then, get the achivement, release the pets if u dont like them.... only problem is that u would be getting a pet that some one have been wanting for a long time and just discard it ><... i think that hunters should be allowed to rehome their pets... trade their pets with other players.... )

The bad thing about rehoming is that it opens the door to some hunters selling pets to others. :/

I would agree if it was trading with your own hunter... like giving it to your alt on the same realm, but id have to agree with kalli if we were aloud to rehome hunters would sell pets and their would become less lively and more like a piece of gear if you ask me...

All I ask for is more stable slots. Seems greedy but I know I'm not the only one wanting it. I'm having to get rid of one of my pets to make exactly eight spaces for the new rares. And the pet to go will most likely be Gezzarak... She never gets used, and doesn't fit into the theme of 'WotLK/Cata rares' of my stable.
So after those eight have been tamed, I have exactly 0 stable slots left, so what do I do when/if they bring even more out?

I don't like the idea, and I hope nothing like it ever gets implemented.
1. It would require class-specific achievements for *all* classes. Which is fine, if they bring them all out, but it wouldn't be fair if only hunters got them. You say it would be a FoS, but still, only for one class?
2. NOTHING to do with pet-taming, please. I'm a completionist and an addict and there is no way I want MORE achievements to have to go out & get!
3. Referencing the above--hunters who aren't interested in the pets would tame them only for the achievement, creating tons of useless competition.
