The scaled drake looks like tarecgosa, from what I've heard the new legendary staff will transform you into that mount and will allow you to carry a passenger, similar to the sandstone drake, quite a bummer for us hunters cause that drake is sexy

Oh I love it! But again, they're adding mounts you gotta jump through hoops to get....which sucks. *sigh* So only the top high end guilds will have it. Go figure.

Really cool looking on the dragon, tho the back seems kinda plain. I just wish one day they would actually made the dragon's wing webbing go all the way to the body.

Fire hawks are a cool design, but they need to fix their toes lol. But that ground wing clipping is pretty extreme. The wings seem like they're stiff like cardboard. The boney legs seem kinda out of place with the rest of the body. It's a nice design, but I think there's more to be fixed on it to me.

If you guys didn't notice, the firehawks are using the proto drakes animations, i think it's just a placeholder or untill they fix the wings so they touch the ground properly.

Oooh that's one sexeh dragon. Going to be very jealous of our shadow priest but, I guess I can always just steal rides from her. >.> And I really love the firehawks. Proto Drakes have been my favourite mount models for a long time, so this one's a must have. D8

I know it uses the protodrake skeleton, but even the protodrake's wings don't clip into the ground. I just think that the fire on the bird's body, it seems, it can only go in one direction, and that's wherever, in this case, the wrist joint of the wing seems to be pointing. I just hope they fix it.

Oh, gorgeous. I would love that dragon so, so much. <3 The firehawk is pretty awesome too, but... *sigh* I'll never get that dragon mount. Or transform, whatever. I hope they do other dragon mounts like that, so they're not just different colours but actually have embellishments like the horns or whatever.

I kind of like the firehawks, but what an odd piecing together of models! It looks like Anzu's head, and the proto drake skeleton, and a new skin... Weird. I'd like it if the wings didn't do that awful clipping. Not that I have to worry about ever being able to get one, not being a raider. >>

This is a reason why I will want to use a morpher program lol. I will never get that staff, nor will I ever get the mount because of the following reasons;

- My warrior is the only one I want good looking stuff on
- My only caster at 85 is a druid healer, and I can't heal for garbage, despite having good gear. (LOL2k CRIT)
- I don't raid. I don't want to be like those people.
- I couldn't stand the long grind for Sulfuras when I made it on my warrior, so a long grind with a silly story is out of the question.

will enjoy using a morpher program just for this. Of course, I'll wait til someone on my realm has obtained it, cause it'd feel wierd for me to be on a raid mount day one.

, but maybe it transforms you temporary into one of these like the archaeology morphs, who knows?

I think it is something like the Headless Horsemen or scythe of ahune use effect, only a nice little extra bonus.
... I can always hope and wish this is going to be the Vial of Sands 2.0

I'm pretty sure there is going to be a new mount available just from completely unlocking the daily quest hubs.

Just so you guys know, they have fixed the firehawk wings. You can see them on the PTR, but even I don't have the PTR and I managed to notice this off various YouTube videos and pictures. Now they have silly little broken wings. I doubt it is but I really, really hope that firehawk is a placeholder because it's the worst model Blizzard have ever made. Imo.

The drake however looks pretty awesome. If it's from that legendary staff, well, I'll never be able to get it.

That is one hell of an ugly dragon. I hope it dies in a fire, because it's so ugly.

The firehawks look cool to me. Some small patching up and they'll be good to go! :D

that would be the 2nd mature female dragon mount? could actually be "older" than the ony mount. can't think of any mature male dragon mounts atm.

i dont like the scaled drake model, i dont like Taragosa or whatever her name is so at least i will be among the small few who will prolly just take their time for the mount (if its via the staff tho, im sure my guild will be all into it, in which case i will try to squeeze in and be a part of it)

and im prolly one out of a very few that actually really likes that the firehawks are using the protodrake mount. Yes, id rather have the wings be properly on the ground as the proto drakes have rather then them digging right into the ground as they are on the hawks but i wouldnt choose any other existing model in the game for them, i like how it makes them savage and ruthless
