When I hit 75 and was ready to go to Grizzly Hills, I knew I wanted to tame Arcturis. I knew the pain people have had with nabbing him, so I figured it would be a long wait to tame him. I downloaded NPC scan, stood at his spawn and browsed the net for a few hours. I was at around 5 hours into my camp when I heard the NPCscan alert, and right on top of me was the big, glowy bear! My heart felt like it was going to leap out of my chest and I immediately hit tame. Thankfully, there were no other hunters around, so it was fairly uneventful beyond the major OMGOMGAWESOME-gasm I was having IRL.

I'm so lucky to have found him in a relatively short amount of time. I imagine my future hunts will not be so easy!

I feel like Arcturis is the Training-Wheels for Rare Hunting in terms of the Spirit Beasts. He teaches you patience and sometimes, humility. Above all else, he teaches you just how fucking badass Spirit Beasts are. Ferocity Spectral Bear = WINNING~!!!
