Yup I love Illustrator. I sketched it out first,but ended up just using a screen shot for the final one and playing around with it.

I love it
Ban'thalos was an unplanned pet for me, but damned if he didn't make me fall in love with him from the start. You captured his essence, great job!
I've got an idea similar to this for a phoenix tattoo, but I haven't been able to work out the right design yet. Wtb your talent with swirly lines
