I was looking for the black gem tiger to make one of my pictures cause of all the hype with Skarr and i found a gooorgeous version of him called tigerskindiamond and no this is not a thread saying it should be implimented because they've given us a black gem cat (though i would love it), this is just a thread to say hey, this is a gorgeous variation of Skarr. Its not (entirely) a thread thats implying im being greedy and i want more gem cats. Its more of an appreciation of this particular cats beauty but also partially a 'i hope blizz decides to bring out this color and some others in the future'.

Personally, i dont like the red glow cause it messes with its gorgeous amethyst gem eyes

I think the black is an excellent choice for Firelands, matches well. The red would sort of fit also I suppose, but I think the blue eyes clash a bit.

The black matches absolutely perfectly! Both the cat and crab skins that were chosen look stunning in the zone.

I do like your choice in the first one; I haven't been big on browsing the gem skins and hadn't seen it before. It's quite lovely!

The amethyst is the one I'd want to see the most. Mmm, green and purple. <3 Such a delicious combination.

Yea Kalli, Skarr matches firelands really well, i can see blizzard putting this guy somewhere in deepholm in a future patch to further that zone, maybe have Therazane herself become a raid boss and a new area opens up within her throne area (i have no idea, im just following my imagination here and its kinda late so im not entirely 'here')

Edit: I just looked at the Turquoise and Sapphire, i must say im really liking the Turquoise but id only like the Sapphire if they got rid of the glowing red mist in the eyes

amethyst id like to see in a deep dark plum purple color xD

Oh dear, more OMGSHINYRARES in Deepholm? But yeah, a gem-themed pet would certainly be appropriate there.

Mmmm i dont see enough shiny rares in deepholm its so dead there and yet ive never seen a single rare other then Jadefang since cata was released and i do my dailies every day!

8D i dooo like, i really like the hunched head but i can get past that if it meant my shiny diamond kitty and a few others were given a regular tiger form <3

I'd like to see the rest of the non gemstone type hunched cats implemented at some point as well, and I'm hopeful for it since they've been showing up slowly but surely (most recently Pogeyan and the ZG black panthers). If you look through model viewer under "tigergem" there's a white tiger, green tiger, dark tiger, white leopard, orange leopard, white... and a few more. But I just love the model so I'm glad to see more of these cats being added overall.

yea theres pretty much a hunched version of all regular tiger model skins (not sabers, but theres apperently gem sabers from wain's untameable topic thread). Id like to see some gem cats come out as regular position because it'd be a nice alternative for ppl and cause im really hoping my precious diamond gem cat will be given a non red misty eye'd model xD

They're kind of a cheat. As I explained in the thread, the tiger skins for all three models are interchangeable, but not all of them have been attached to all three models. The gems ones, for example, are only attached to the hunched and regular model, but you can stick them on the saber model using MPQEditor and WMV to see what they'd look like. Same with the lavender and aqua skins which currently only exist for the saber model but work well on the regular and gem models. All they'd need to do is copy the skins across, no editing needed.

ooooooh haha nice i dun understand anything that has to do with making or editing a model so i just follow the crowd and learn eventually down the line or finding it myself if someone made it or if its a real model xD

Ohh man, if either of these got implemented I'd probably have to start a gem-theme pet collection on a new hunter alt! That being said while blue/turquoise are my absolute favorite colours. Dang you Wain.. now I'm really hoping we'll see both or atleast one of these in the future. (Although I kinda prefer the non-hunched version better but that's just nitpicking!) Hmm, Emerald Dream expac you say?
