What happened?

Is Skarr still tameable from afar and frost trappable?

EDIT: Never mind. I just read further down. Apparently at least Skarr isn't trappable any more. Which means, likely, that Karkin *also* isn't frost trappable. Which means... oh, this is going to get a lot more vicious.

I pray they do not share spawn points. But I *am* happy that the difficulty is being upped! A frost trap and taming from 30 yards away was definitely not very sporting.

I am kinda thinking they share spawn timers as they still do share the same spawn points.

But don't worry, Magria and Ankha seem to too, and we still see both of them plenty!

Hey. Maybe with how unkillable they are, they made the timer shorter.

Every time I've seen Skarr it's been as a corpse. It still seems to be easy for ranged to kill him.

The difficulty with that challenge is finding him alive.

*nod* That actually sounds right. The big bad cast can be interrupted, so Skarr and Karkin are actually squishy, unless you're taming them and eating the 70k+ hits. >_< (Which interrupt the tame, which means starting over at that point.)

So thanks to Skarr for spawning twice in a row*, I got to test both silencing shot and scatter shot tonight. Both of them work on the big cast. The downside is that scatter works like an ordinary short interrupt rather than its usual disorient, so my theory regarding that was wrong. Skarr got to do three casts with no corehound and only two with. I fatfingered an interrupt on the no corehound attempt, though, due to fatigue, so that interrupted the tame. -_- Had I gotten both, I think that would have been the tame.

So yeah, aside from a corehound for hysteria and the casting speed debuff, I'm not sure how you solo either.

*God, I was so tired when I wrote this, I didn't put the side note. Karkin and Skarr have the same mechanics now, so either of them spawning would have been fine.

Question does he only cast the stun when you hit tame? As it seemed for me to be the only reason he did it.

And why is it when you die in the fire, it says its fall damage lmao.

Well skarr it seemed he only casted it once. The first time I hit tame, but the second time he didn't so either kalli has deadly precise timing or it triggered by tame and has a cd.

I got the haste buff from the updrafts. Tame/Silencing Shot/Tame. Worked easily.

Don't know if the haste helped much.

Nope I had no issues without haste.

Blizzard likes to promote MM spec apparently MM spec can make.. all the rares except well obviously the SBs alot easier. Readiness rocks.
