I was doing some quests in netherstorm, trying to grind to lvl 72 so i can get Gezzy and my _NPCScan goes off, Nuramoc spawned right above me!! Im lvl 67... fak... ok, well, lets pray to god no one kills him and grind the living hell outta this char! I hire my guildies and we run dungeon after dungeon and do half of netherstorm. it took us 4-5 hours. Guildies go to bed, i ding lvl 69, i rush my ass to his spawn, i find him flying around, i go to tame and... This Creature is Too High for You to Tame... WTF YOUR SUPPOSED TO BE LVL 69 WTH IS THIS CRAP

Im a very sad person right now..





Im currently grinding to lvl 70 now so i may have a true taming story but i just really had to get it out cause im one very very sad person lol

I hope he is still there when you ding

He can spawn as a 69 elite or 70. Unfortunately you found him as a lvl 70.

the only other time i discovered him he was lvl 69 so i thought he was his only lvl because back then we couldnt tame them but atm we can tame exotics at lvl 69 (first and only time was burning crusade, few years ago)

Ok, 9:40pm i took those screenshots, Nuramoc was alive for about 4-5 hours at that point.

Now, almost (practically on the dot) two hours later, which would make 6-7 hours hes been alive, i successfully tame! I grinded the living hell outta my char and i am mentally exausted lol





As you can tell by my action bars in the first post, i havent played BM in a very, very long time.. but now because of Nuramoc i will definitely be playing as BM a lot more ^-^ Mostly just to show him off (and even tho i keep saying him, im making nuramoc a her on Paperflowers rofl)

Ive now given him (her when im on my hunter) a name and i chose "Dura" which means in elvish "To believe" (in present tense) cause after all the bloody work i did, never did i give up hope that he was alive still flying around lol, and i always checked in occasionally when i had a chance and sure enough he was still flying around without a care

That's pretty crazy that he stayed up that long. I guess they stay up until there tamed or killed.

Yea, or they remain alive for the amount of time that it takes for them to respawn, they take 6-12 hours to spawn, then they remain up for 6-12 hours (its a guess :3)

Lol even though hes prolly only been alive because the expansions have left netherstorm dead but back when i killed him in TBC i was really sad, cause he was enormous and gorgeous, and he was just staring at me when i fell off the cliff side being attacked by demons (the very northern island with the eco-dome holding the devilsaur). He didnt move, just stared.. and then i killed him when i recovered.. xD

Never really thought much about the whole little event but its pretty much because of that event and some connection he made to my hunter that has me in such a big hype right now. He sat for hours, many many hours and there were other players popping in and out, some even hunters which i thought were gonna find and tame him cause they had the same idea as everyone else that the area is dead. To have him spawn overtop of me (my _NPCScan pinged and i saw him above me, more specifically just a few yards infront, not across the landscape at the 100yrd range) really made me determined to get him because he still, in my mind was intent on becoming part of my virtual family

I've found Nura twice myself (once mine, once for a friend) and he was 70 both times - there was about two other people in the southern side of Outland in the former case, and I had to spend five minutes frantically emoting to a blood elf DK in the other case - thankfully he got it :3 Gratz on your new purple friend! He stayed alive cause he wanted to be your pet :3
