Well I did it. In about a month I got my third hunter, Kitsuné, from level 20-ish up to level 74.

Now the joys of camping begin again. Spent most of the day today getting her from level 70 to level 74.

And of course Articus is nowhere to been seen now that I can finally tame him. *sigh*

He is not my top spirit beast-I want Loque'nahak mostly once I hit 76-but I want him still.

I'm currently sitting here-tis almost 2 am-trying to decide how long I want to wait up for this guy.

Anybody else have some long camps recently?

I just grinded for 6-7 hours straight trying to hit lvl 70 from lvl 67 for Nuramoc... technically it wasnt a long camp because he originally spawned overhead while i was questing BUT it would of been a very long camp trying to figure out when and where he was gonna spawn next if i had killed him (i thought for sure he was gonna get killed or tamed and i was contemplating deeply of taking the loot and spawn timer)

I saw your post just a bit ago, congrats on getting him. He is always up on my own server it seems. I don't think many hunters know he is out there. Because of the way you can level up, most people don't end up questing in that area, instead they go out to Northend as soon as they can, so he usually is spared a pointless death.

Been camping Articus for an hour now. I don't really want to log because it is late and if he does spawn there will not be anyone to fight for him.

But I am getting sleepy. Trying to decide if I want to start another book or just get to sleep already.

I'm going to give him until the episode of White Collar that I am watching on dvd is over. Then I'll log and camp tomorrow I think.

So here I am minding my own business and I take a look at the screen.

And decide that I must be going crazy.

There was a bluish looking thing that I thought was a flower-but it was moving, so I took a closer look.



Killed it, and it even floated in air.



Was rather weird.

And I had the chance to notice my gun.



Which is rather kickass looking for an item level 154 gun. Tis called Bondsniper. O_o

Anyways, getting sleepy. Another hunter just came up and wished me luck, which makes me want to stick with it just a little longer. Oy ve.

Too stubborn by half.

Going stir crazy. Camped till about 430 in the morning, then went to sleep. Couldn't sleep, had some nightmares about a big ghost bear attacking me, so I woke back up around 930 or so this morning.

Tis now 2 in the afternoon. I've been sitting on his spawn spot since 930 this morning. When I logged at 430 another hunter came and sat at his spawn point till around when I returned.

Yeah. Where is this blasted bear already?

I had this same camp, and it took me forever and a day to catch him.

For example, the one time I left the computer to go and get food at Chipotle? He spawned. And no one told me. So I didn't even figure out he had spawned then until twelve hours later when I finally got him at 6.36am. I was so pissed.

So yeah, just keep at it! Hope you have better luck than did!(:

What is his respawn timer? I thought it was 8-12-but others are saying different.

I've run into a number of nice hunters who have come by, wished me luck and left me to it. I've written down all of their names so I can send them a note once I get him and let them know when he spawned for me, even the other faction hunters. Been lucky so far with nice people.

Lol, I did the same thing! I even wrote down the name of the hordie who kept killing me so I could tell her when I logged off. But I did that in the hopes that she'd get the stupid bear, go away, and never ever come back.

From what I've heard, his timer is something like 6-36. He spawned twelve hours after his last spawn for me (found that out because one of the people I PMed in game had already gotten him twelve hours earlier). SO IDK, HE'S EVIL.

Gah and to think, when I got him on Shade, it was just a flyby, there he was, and I tamed on a whim. Oy.

I've heard he's the hardest of the SBs just for his timer. D:

Bah almost 11 hours strait now.

Can I send in a GM ticket and tell them to hurry it up already?!

I've come up with the perfect name for him now I think, once I get him. Shall share if he ever does decide to come home with me.

Dwarf hunter comes, drops him beside me to set off my NPCScan. I switch to my side to ask him not to do that. Then I clear cache come back and he still had it out.

Cleared cache again and now he is gone.

*sigh*

Two heart attacks back to back.

My nerves are getting shot. Oy Ve.

I hate when people grief like that.

And he keeps hovering around. Really starting to get on my nerves now.
