I've been flying around in the basin for about five hours today, off and on, looking for this little kitty for Kitsune. I have him on my main hunter-and I took about four months to actually get him on her, so five hours was an amazingly short camp for him in my book. I had parked myself just over next to the white apes in the lower right corner of the map as my brother and his fiance got to the house. So I was about to log when my NPCScan went off and made me drop my drink.

So I was a bad hostess and didn't get to them right away, as I was so busy taming him and then after that cleaning up my soda.

I actually forgot that I had Sholazar (the Shago that I had jsut tamed) still out, so Loque took a few hits before I got him. So did the poor ape who had been minding his own business but accidentally got targeted first in my haste to get Loque.

My new kitty needs a name! I like real world names that sound kind of mythic, or mythical figures. My first Loque was named Loki (but I later changed it because it is such a common name for the Loques on my realm).

I am tempted to name him Soda-but I don't like that. My Arcticus is named Insomnia because it took me so long to tame him, I kept having nightmares about just missing him when I tried to sleep, lol.

Don't know what name to give this Loque. Right now he is called Kholai, but I don't plan on keeping that name.

Any ideas?

I absolutely love this idea! Also, an alternative to Loki would be Skaldi. She was an ice and snow deity (these elements always make me think of Loque) and is the one who placed a snake over Loki's head to drip poison onto him. Kind of an interesting twist to what must be such a common name - it would make yours stand above the rest

Coke doesn't have that many anagrams sadly, though I do really like the idea!

I do like Skaldi as well though, I think I am going to use that name for the blue dragonhawk I caught recently on Shade.

Kora - How "Cola" is pronounced in Japanese.
Kola - Just change the "C" to a "K". Same pronounciation but looks more name friendly.

That's all I got for now on that part. You mentioned you were startled by NPCScan going off, causing you to drop your drink in the first place; maybe one of these might work for a name ...
