Shoots led us on a run through old LK raids yesterday for a much welcomed taming break. I did manage to capture a few screenshots from the later part of the raid (coincidentally when I was NOT healing, haha!):



Flying up to Ulduar! The mount is so pretty, it had to be here.



The new fire giants inside Ulduar - they actually blend in rather nicely.



Freshly-tamed Magria was having a little trouble with the floor near Razorscale. This seemed to be related to spirit walk, since none of the other pets present had this problem.



Ursa Minor was not impressed by our efforts.



That's....not what it looks like.



There was something very appropriate and serene about this moment, so I had to capture it.



XT trash. I'm not a huge fan of male night elves, but Shoots posed really well here.

And then we had to go through the Arcturis boss! (We lost, because the chest wouldn't open. )

We need to do this more often. :)

Which PTR server are you guys on, and what would be a good time to catch most of you?

Anasterian. US PvE! We're usually on during the (US) day, but there's generally SOMEONE on at all hours.

great photos, I'm wondering why they would update the molten giant guys in Ulduar? Or did they just update all of that one particular model (regardless of where the mob is located)

Great photos though, I always loved Storm Peaks (even after camping XXX hours for TLPD )

The latter Royi. The models in Molten Core were updated as well (I believe we owe Parkour for that news).

Nice! How's Algalon at lvl 85? Trickier than say the LK? I always wanted to grab that Starcaller title.

He's actually pretty sad encounter now if you ask me (He used to be, well he still is, my favourite fight in Ulduar, purely because of the difficulty). You can easily survive Big Bang now without going to the realm as long as you're topped up.

On Topic, I'm very happy to see those models updated.

^ this on agalon if u have 10 people u can easily dps him down before u really have to do anything.

Yeah, it's anticlimactic to fight Algalon now. :/ Buuuut knowing how gear was back at 80 when Ulduar was new, you can still see glimmers of what the encounter used to be like.

I would like to see some level 85s deck themselves out in Uld10/Naxx gear to get that one achievement. That would be fun to do

I actually enjoyed doing those raids the other night. We need to do that more often.

Unfortunately, Herald of the Titans was made into a FoS (as was the Argent Defender achievement for ToC) at 4.0, so it's not attainable anymore.
