So after a good three hours of downloads, I finally managed to copy some premades etc. and hop onto the PTR!

But I now face a few conundrums: At this point in testing, Is there really any point to doing the dailies and stuff? And even then, how would I go about opening up the areas on the PTR? Also, how many dailies do I have to do in order to open up each phase (and subsequently, access the tames)? And finally, do we have any word on when the patch goes live (other than Blizzard's usual Soon™)?

If anyone can answer these (and maybe more at some point), please do!

Well, in the meantime, I'm gonna see if I can prevent my WoW Model Viewer from crashing every 5 minutes from 4.2 models. ;_;

Three days' worth of dailies will get you into the Molten Front. As long as you've quested in Hyjal, you'll be able to see the spirit beast cats and Ban'thalos while unlocking the dailies.

They start at the Sanctuary of Malorne in Mount Hyjal. You can skip the wonderful RP quest with Thrall for Molten Front purposes.

Yep! Although I would also highly recommend doing the quest with Thrall as well. You get a 365 level cloak from it.

Yes, you do. Other wise you wont open up the daily chain that allows you get in there.

You can clear it out on the PTR and it won't touch your live pets. It's hard with the favorites, but just abandon from the bottom first!
