Hopefully the title gets the point across

During the few raids I have been invited to I've noticed a lot of people slacking on interrupting bosses such as the Ascendent Council in Bastion of Twilight, and since most buffs are usually covered I feel its about time I got myself an interrupt pet. But which one?

Here's a quick pick of Varethyn at current:


What interrupter pet do you guys think would suit Var?

I would probably say a nether ray, since moths are....moths....and gorillas are tenacity.

Since I'm sure your not into moths like I am maybe a Nether Ray I use one of my alt:
Maybe this green one to suit the current gear?
Though I normally run with this one as I have matching mount and mini pet.

I was thinking a red nether ray myself. But watch out, I've found that I, at least, still have the "Walk" bug. As in, my nether ray never uses his running animation, only his walking one. It's extremely irritating. Moths might look nice - might try a red one? It would match you well.

I'm a HUGE fan of moths. They're resilient little buggers and snatch aggro up in a snap. I do kind of agree that they might not match your toon that well. I agree that nether rays might work, so why not tame a few and see how they look? My favourite is the red, which might work very well with your toon, but you'd have to probably actually have them next to each other. Post a screen shot of the red and the green, for example?

The gold/silver nether ray skin is rarely used, and their green glow matches blood elf eyes and agility enchant glows. For moths I'm rather fond of the red/green skin, although the grey is also nice.

All cosmetic debates aside, moths and nether rays each have advantages. Moths use the ferocity tree, which is fairly important to your damage if you're running BM. Nether rays, though, have a 20 second shorter cooldown on their interrupt.

I was working on my archaeology in Outland anyway so I picked up one of each colour nether ray while I was there:



I DO really quite like the red one, but I don't like it's black eyes very much.

I have tried a Vale Moth from the dreanei starter zone but we didn't click. Which was quite annoying because I died 5 times getting to it I might make a moth collage (sans vale moth) later on.

If not the red ray, then perhaps the silver/green one? Matches your character's eyes, after all.
But yes, I want to see the moths. xD

Of your nether ray pics, I like the one on the very bottom the best. Alternatively, I'd suggest a green/red moth.

Of the moths, I suggest either of the middle too (the red ones.) They both have eyes that match yours! I'd go with the top one though.

Now I'm leaning toward the tan moth.

Surprisingly, I think the tan moth looks pretty nice, too.

Wow, the tan moth looks amazing. The red/green one is second best!

But I'd go for a reddish one of either since your toon is a ranga

I'd say tan/red moth or (top choice) the red ray. I tend to match the character, not the gear myself. Err, if I'm looking to match, that is.

Haha, your welcome! I used that tabard for most of my LK raiding days, I was obsessed with it, it really is such fabulous colour combos and clearly not used enough imo

I used to do that too, until thy let us change our hair styles, colours or even skin in some cases, I just could not help myself making it all so perfectly matchy match !

I'm digging the tan and red (beige-winged, not green-winged) moths in particular--also, I have a fondness for Ferocity pets --but if you're looking for a nether ray, red or silver is the way to go, in my opinion.
