I'm not quite sure how we missed this....possibly because no one goes to Darnassus and even fewer people look up.

This is Dori'thur, Tyrande's companion.

Note. Not pet. He's not flagged as tamable, so sorry Hordies, he won't be a Ban'thalos alternative.

He flaps around the ceiling in a regal, majestic manner and looks quite lovely against the violet drapes. Definitely worth a visit as Alliance if you'd like to see the spirit owl in person.

Thrall's balls! They're on that draenei's head! :O

Anyway, pretty owl; kinda cool to see that model used elsewhere. Way to go Tyrande.

Additional side note: her taste in companions is better than her taste in bows. (I'm teasing; I kind of like the simplicity.)

I agree, I think the simple bow really suits her.

I just like the juxtaposition of "glowy green owl," "shiny lightning druid shoulders," and "simple bow."

And now I can't stop giggling at Malfurion's shoulders. Dammit.

Hmm, a little off topic here, but I always wondered where Tyrandes cat went? I remember she had a Frostsaber name Ash'alah, but he's yet to be seen ingame. D: Makes me think Blizzard forgot him.

Sorry, reading that this guy is Tyrande's companion made me think of him since he hasn't been seen since WC3. =(

Where the hell is Ash'alah? I know they didn't completely forget her because she's with Tyrande on her TCG card, but come on. Just set a pretty striped saber behind her named that and call it a day.

I don't like Garrosh's new model either--thanks Blizzard for giving us the derp-faced faction leader. As if he's not a big enough joke as it is. -_-

As much as I despite Garrosh's new model and think the lore around him is quite derpy, I do have to admit that at least in quest chains he has proven to be a bit wiser and more mature than we were led to believe he was to begin with.

Oh, and he's smart enough to plonk his warchief's place right in the middle of org... and he's a badass.

Result?

Old days: Ally raid rode in the back gate, by the time Horde could muster a defense and get there he was often dead (although raid-gear scaling was a bigger issue than anything, as gear quickly far outstripped boss stats)
Nowadays: Ally raid drops into the middle of Orgrimmar, and everyone turns around from the AH and goes "LOL NO," meanwhile Garrosh is inside one-shotting the healers

She has used this Owl in warcraft 3, first mission of the night elf campain i think, to scout for the horde, her tiger is still missing.

Herm, Sylvannas needs an undead raven or a crow pet too imho.

I was taking a screenshot in SW last night when a GIGANTIC PUG ran across my field of view. Okay, so it was a normal-sized pug, but when you're zoomed in all the way, anything looks massive. Now I can't remember his name, but he apparently belongs to Anduin. Makes you wonder what kind of dog/wolf Varian might have. (And I don't even like Varian; why am I pondering this? >_< )
